So a village that can barely take care of itself is able to put together music and a party and host this gigantic contest hall? Oh yeah, they're SO incapable of anything without your help. "Oh...well I'm sure it'll be fun. Did you...have them put a band together or did they just...gather by themselves?" By random luck, they just tripped over each other while holding instruments and made music, like a freakin' cosmic anomaly.
Sofa was noticing a very clear problem with Marcus, and was not really in the best mood to play moderator, so he tried to get them out of the booth by shoving him out so Marcus and Sofa could let off some steam in a fight with someone.
"He-hey...I guess he wants us to get out of the booth." Marcus looked down and saw Lex asleep and returned him to his Pokeball.
"Shall we head to my place then so that we can get ready for tonight's festival?" Eira suggested as Sealeo came back to her side, the large Pokemon barking at Marcus when his little buddy was taken from him. Eira rested her hand on Sealeo's head to calm him, sure that the newly evolved Pokemon could easily bowl over Marcus if he began to slide towards him. "And it was kind of a group decision. I wanted to try to put together a party for everyone and was throwing out ideas for food and music, so someone said they could play one instrument and then another said they could play another and so one and so forth until we ended up with a bit of a band together. I'm just happy they were able to pull together in time to perform tonight."
I'm very quickly not liking talking to you... "Uh...no, I think Sofa wants to go...battle?" Sofa nodded to this, still shoving him out of the door. "Yeah...yeah, that sounds like a good idea. We're gonna go find someone to battle so I can..." oops "...help Sofa let off steam." I hate avoiding problems...this is why I don't like royalty...always on eggshells.
"But we'll be at the festival, don't worry." Marcus put on his best smile as they left Eira and her barking Sealeo behind. Sofa stopped shoving Marcus, and as he turned away, his face very quickly lost his smile; turning dark and snarling. "Lets find someone to fight."
As Maya exited the hall she realized she was faced with a big problem.
"Where the f*ck are we going to stay till the festival?" She said, looking down at Bo.
"Flaaaaaafa?" Bo gave her best impression of a shrug and bleated in confusion
That was when a couple came forward, shaking her hand with a smile. Then she realized it was the couple from the hut that Bo so rudely barged into. They pulled her in the direction of the hut, insisting that the runner up and her Pokemon stay at their place until the festival started. Maya frantically thanked them and said it wasn't necessary but Bo was already running ahead and to be honest, a nice warm fire sounded good right about now. She quietly thanked them and followed after.

After admiring his statue for a while, Zandrophin exited the arena. He walked around in the snow...and just looked around the village. There wasn't much to look at, to be sure...but then he wondered something.
Old friend, take us to the top of that tree outside the village...I imagine the view is quite spectacular. Plus...it'll give us a chance to get away before the festival.
Of course, Sir...I always liked being in a secure, higher ground position...wider field of view.
Zandrophin began walking towards the tree...his left hand in his pocket...then Mentus shot them away. They landed, perched safely upon one of the higher branches. Zandrophin sat, looked at the truly amazing view, and meditated in its splendor.

Eira frowned as Marcus left, hoping that their battle went well and didn't create too much of a ruckus while things were being finished up for the festival. Eira looked down at Sealeo for a moment before she decided that she needed a bit of a break from people before the festival began, so she headed out the back of the contest hall and towards the surrounding forest with her partner sliding along behind her. She knew she should stick around to greet people, but she just couldn't handle any more people in that moment after being stuck in the hall with them for so long.
