All Hallows Eve [Eira, Maya, Astina, Nicole, Z, Maleko]

Mariko gave her own bow at the gesture towards her from Prasha. Luka, flew a little bit above his bowing trainer and gave a small flip in the air before dipping into his own form of a bow. After she stood back at her full height, Mariko decided then to give the introductions and the thank you speech all at once as the full and complete ending to the performance just given. “People of Celosia, we thank you for watching out combined performance. I am Mariko, and my Pokemon Partner is Luka.” She said, Luka giving another bow at his name. “My partner in this was Prasha, and his Pokemon partner is Steel.” She said, giving a gesture back towards the two she was speaking of. “We hope you enjoyed our performance.” She finished giving another bow of her own before turning her attention to Akane to wait for the Celosian Queen’s final judgment on the performance just given. She hoped it had gone over well, especially with how last minute her and Prasha’s entry into the contest was.

As Eira took the stage, her mind whirled with what she could possibly do to impress Akane, especially when the subject was strictly beauty. There was one Pokemon in her group that would be able to steal the show, but it needed a partner that it wouldn't out shine while they were on stage. It was while she was looking at Akane that an idea struck her that may just get her the points she needed to come out on top this time around.

"Ladies and gentlemen," she called out to the audience after a small bow to her fellow queen. She pulled out two of the pokeballs that held the Pokemon she had chosen for this round. "I have a new Pokemon who is particularly eager to meet all of you, a Pokemon who hopes to show off his brilliance on this stage. May I please introduce to you my newest partner, Cloud!"

Eira tossed the ball high into the air, releasing the large cotton cloud Pokemon in a burst of white and red lights that bounced off its fluffy coat. This Altaria, though looking similar to the rest of its species, looked incredibly different. This one had a much longer tail than normal and much more of the cloud like down that coated his body.

Cloud swooped high into the air in a graceful arc, singing a soft, twinkling song to the audience before it landed gently behind Eira to await his first command.

"And now, may I introduce to you my very own Milotic," Eira called as she rolled the other ball in her hand towards the other end of the stage, releasing the shimmering figure of her Milotic that seemed to have the opposite coloring of the one that Akane owned. He was, of course, a shiny Milotic that had a bright yellow tail instead of the dark blue others of his kind tended to have. The two Pokemon on either side of Eira waited patiently as she stepped back to the very back of the stage so they could have the spotlight strictly on them. "Let's get things started. Cloud, a Moonblast if you will. Milotic, Aqua Ring."

Milotic gave a low call to his trainer as water began to appear around his serpentine body, catching the light bouncing off of his scales to make the slowly forming rings sparkle. The mega Altaria gave a high pitched call in response to the low call of the Milotic as he flew high into the sky, summoning a large pink aura behind him as he did so that caused even more light to bounce off of the rings of water.

“Switch to Water Pulse,” Eira called to Milotic, trying to remember as many moves as she could that the Milotic would know. Milotic’s only response was a lazy flick of his glittering tail, sending the rings up and away from him at a devastating speed so that the shimmering rings could be launched at Cloud. Cloud, meanwhile, launched his attack, the pink light causing the water to break apart into small, sparkling droplets that cascaded down towards the ground.

“Both of you, finish this with a Dragon Pulse,” Eira called out, stepping further back from where the two Pokemon were performing. The two rounded from facing each other so that they were facing the audience, their movements sending a light show to the people watching as the light struck all of the pearls of water stuck on them.
Cloud and Milotic began to summon orbs of dark purple energy before they sent the energy high into the air to collide above them. The collision caused a massive dark purple and bright pink aura to form above the stage, casting light and shadow on the Altaria and Milotic below.

Eira stepped forward then so the three of them could take a bow, finding herself with a small blue Ditto in her arms the second the Milotic had sensed that he could break character.

“I do hope you enjoyed the show everyone,” Eira called to the audience with a small laugh as she hugged Meta to her and began to stroke the fluff that sat atop of Cloud’s head.

"Thank you so much for the hearty praise, Lady Akane. It was absolutely our pleasure to perform for you and your people once again," Eira called to her fellow queen with one more bow before she turned to leave the stage. She had high hopes for actually winning this contest since Akane had seemed to like it so much and Meta and Cloud had done such a wonderful job like she had hoped. It was now all up to her fellow contestants to do their performances and to see how she stood in comparison to them. As she sat down to watch the other performances, Cloud fluttered down to sit behind her and envelope her in his massive clouds so she would feel comforted while they waited for their results.

I have decided to cancel this contest any further. No keystone will be awarded, but prize money and the winner will be chosen from Z and Eira’s group, seeing as they had the highest score in the contest combined, I think it’s fair enough (considering this thread has been ongoing since early October) to pick the winner from the highest pointed group.

With Eira’s 117 points versus Z’s 115 (holy crap they were close) I have decided to award Eira her first win at Houndoom Hall! Since it was supposed to be a holiday affair, you will receive the Houndoom Hall’s holiday badge and 30k poke!

Z with your second place you will receive 20k poke

Nicole and Astina will both earn 15k poke

Maya and Maleko with each earn 10k

And finally Mariko and Prasha earned 5k each!
