"So Mega Kick? That must be a powerful move with a Pokemon like Slakoth," Eira murmured, looking down at Spheal worriedly. "I'm glad that this isn't a contest battle or we would have a much harder time going against you with that kind of move up your sleeve."
Marcus decided to push that thought away for now, wait to think about it when he was less engaged with others.
"Not really. Half the time, he's too lazy to get up and attack. Even if he's about to be knocked out, he'll just sit there and let his enemy charge up their focus punch. It's pretty annoying." Marcus looked back at Sofa. "But I can't see me going on my Pokemon journey without him, he's my best friend in the world."
Eira smiled brightly at that. "I completely agree. I couldn't imagine going anywhere without Spheal."
Spheal gave a call of his name to his partner to show that he agreed with her. He was still rolling around the room until he ended up rolling right into Sofa, forcing him to stop in his tracks. "Spheal?"
Z and axew stopped training to watch the others. Axew hopped off z and walked toward spheal. "Axew?" said axew, poking spheal. *translation* "why do you roll so much" Z chuckled as he watched his partner make a new friend.
"Spheal spheal sphea," Spheal replied cheerfully. *It's the easiest way to get around.*
Eira looked at Spheal with a small smile, knowing full well that her partner was very good at making new friends and was the little ringleader of most of the Pokemon in Silvertree.
Axew poked spheal again, causing the round pokemon to roll around like a large ball. "Ax Axew." *this is fun.* "Be nice," said Z to Axew. Axew continued to roll his new friend around.
"He's really cute. And he seems to be so comfortable with whatever's happening, he always has a smile on his face."Marcus knelt down and petted spheal, smiling at the cute ice pokemon as he made a new friend.
"He must get all the girls back home with charisma like that."
"He might want to be careful. Spheal doesn't like to be pushed around like that," Eira warned Z as she watched Axew push her partner around the room. She could that Spheal was slowly getting annoyed and was about to step in when Spheal rolled away from Axew. She sighed in relief since she thought that Spheal was going to be nice, but was wrong. Spheal turned back towards Axew and charge up his Ice ball once more, shooting the large ball of ice at the young dragon type.
"Speal, no!" Eira reprimanded her partner as she scooped him up and held him close. "I'm sorry. He's normally much friendlier than this."
"It's alright," said Z, "Axew is still learning manners and needs to know when others don't like things." "Axew," pouted Axew. "It's not nice," said Z "Xew." "It wasn't fun for him."
"You aren't leaving my arms until the competition starts," Eira reprimanded her partner, making the young Pokemon pout. "Don't give me that look. Attacking another Pokemon for no reason is wrong and you know it. You are only lucky that that Ice ball missed or you would've been in a lot more trouble."
"You're going to apologize," said Z, "and I can understand you so I'll know if you don't." "Axew." pouted Axew. "I could always put you in time out in your ball." "Axew, Axew," *I'm very sorry.*
"Too much drama. At least he used Ice ball. I'm gonna check Sofa's back for water. The way it's looking, we're gonna be here for dinner before we get our fourth contestant. No unexpected rude awakenings this time please." Yawning, Marcus resumed his natural position and closed his eyes, acting like he was going to sleep.
Guess I was mistaken. Maybe no coordinators have heard about the new hall? Either way, it gives me time to think about that dream...Why did I not remember a dragon before?
"We should be the ones who are sorry, not you," Eira said quickly, waving away the apology. She didn't really know what to do other than to apologize for her partner's behavior since she had never really been in a situation like this before "Spheal should not have attacked like that. I am very sorry and so is Spheal."
"You seem to sleep a lot," said Z, "and it's alright. Axew was causing trouble." Axew walked up to Sofa and tried to start a conversation. "Xew xew Axew." *do you like being his pillow?* Z chuckled, "just don't make trouble axew."
Sofa opened his right eye and looked at the little dragon. He closed his eye again and shoved axew away with his arm and went back to sleep.
"I like sleeping. I feel tired a lot, so sleeping a lot just seems to make sense. Plus, Sofa wasn't exactly the best influence in this case for me when I was growing up. He didn't really do much else. I just got used to it." Marcus shrugged the best he could while on his back. "Unlike him, though, I don't let it get in the way of doing important things."
He opened his right eye and looked at Eira for a second and then closed it again.
