Astina fell to the ground before looking up in wonder at who had come in and disturbed her interaction with the ghost. She ignored her concerned Pokemon as they flew to her side once she laid eyes on the priestess that had come in behind a ferocious looking ape Pokemon. It was clear from her spiritual energy that the woman was a priestess, which lead Astina to wonder what tribe she had come from and if she knew the legends like she did. When the woman threw purification needles, Astina sat bolt upright in worry. "Please don't harm him! He just didn't trust me yet, he didn't mean to hurt me!"
After no reply, Tsubame and Kaname had already eaten some lunch. Kaname hadn’t worked out this much in a while, to which he glared at Tsubame.
”Sorry, but I don’t want you doing human work. It’s not fair of your trainer to make you do work like that.”
Kaname could only roll his eyes and grumble as he wolfed down another sandwich. It was at least a good half-hour before their relaxation was cut short. Another spectral pokemon graced the duo with its presence. Growing annoyed with them, Kaname made quick work of the ghost type.
”Perhaps we should leave. We’re probably only aggravating them further… umm where is the exit?”
"Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. Life's a game not meant to be won by people like me." -Tsubame
The specter brought up Marcus' hands as fast as it could, they glowed with a clear aura as they deflected needles. However, one needle found its mark, landing square in the shoulder. Marcus' arms dropped uselessly to his side, he stood stock-still with his mouth closed and eyes half-open. A voice that seemed to come from nowhere filled the room. "Well done, Ellylldan, I'm so very proud of you. You not only managed to stop me from ending this would-be murderer, but you did so by joining sides with another one. You must be ecstatic that you're assisting someone that's likely killed hundreds of your kind with no remorse." "Please, just stop. Leave everyone alone." Marcus was all but pacified by the ghost, despite his current state.
"And it seems like you're all out of luck, priestess, the little hero is terrified of the undead. Has been since childhood. Can't say I blame him, but he has no will to force me out, and so it's only a matter of time before this needle shatters."
As he spoke, the needle started to glow and shake ever so slightly. Intimidatingly, Marcus' eyes shot up with fiery intensity looking right at Maya.
"And I promise you, you won't catch me off-guard a second time."
