Chazz looked on quietly. Taking a large swig from his drink he, brought himself up and walked toward Eira. He had to mind his manners, they were at peace with Eirlys. He wanted to keep it that way. He walked calmly toward the Queen his jeweled encrusted sword at his side. It was not a weapon of war. The blade was not even sharp. It was given to him by his generals and he only wore it because it matched his outfit.
He approached the woman he bowed his head slightly and spoke, in the most charming tone he could. "Your Grace. I am Lord Chazz of Celosia. I humbly make your acquaintance." He rose his head and smiled.
Eira stopped dead when Chazz approached her and introduced himself, still not used to people suddenly approaching her and wanting to make her acquaintance. She did a small curtsy to him in a sign of respect. "It is a pleasure to meet you too. Please, do only call me Eira."
She thought over what he had said for a moment before she got stuck on where he was from. If he was from Celosia and had a sword that beautiful, he must be either of a high status or be very rich. Maybe that meant that he knew Akane in some way? If that was the case, then she had a lot to live up to as queen.
"Where exactly in Sinnoh do you come from, Mr. Feng? Everyone here's got stories...and judging by what I've observed already...you must have quite a few interesting yarns to spin."
”Please, my father was Mr. Feng. Please call me Tsubame. There, I have already told you one of mine. Unfortunately that’s the most colorful I have. The rest are my cousin’s. If you’ve heard of a man named, Dalek. That’s a man with all the stories, even my own.” He shook his head.
”But if you’re still interested I lived by Mount Coronet and the four cities that guard its caves, before I began working the mines.” His voice was stiff, emotionless, guarded. He watched Zandrophin’s eyes for any hint of danger, more so than already presented itself.
”There’s not as much opportunity to be here. Why then have you two come here? Out here is mostly grunt work. Eirlys has no fortune aside from what the wilderness can give.” He looked at the fair lady from Snowpoint and the fair man from Saffron. ’Why would he come to Asemon of all places? Eirlys is still too poor for big business.’
Kaname stalked his way to the psychic type, not looking for a fight, but just wanting to see the pokemon. Tsubame rarely let him meet psychic types. To humans, he said his species name, to the abra, he spoke.
Do humans often avoid you? They often times fear me. I sense no fear in my trainer but he is very guarded, and not in his normal way when he meets strangers. But I believe he is so from your trainer, not so much you. And is it true you can actually speak human words to humans?
"Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. Life's a game not meant to be won by people like me." -Tsubame

"Well Eira, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Chazz looked directly at Eira. "You have never seen me before, because I am not a diplomat. I am just here for the party. If it were any other occasion, that would mean we were at war." He was totally kidding, but it wasn't every day you meet someone, even if they were a queen and not poke fun. "As Commander of the Celosian Military I handle all affairs that involve my blade. Here, however, I am just enjoying the party. Besides no one in their right mind would ever go to war in the winter. Especially when it is always winter here." He looked down to the snow. He didn't show it but you never forget a winter war. He laughed, "So, how is Eirlys?"

"Alright....Tsubame."
Zandrophin had a bit of difficulty addressing him in such a casual way...he had only just met him. However...if it would keep the man from getting too much more defensive than he already was...Zandrophin would humor him. He continued,
"As for my reason for being here...other than a chance to have my name be heard around here...I haven't quite figured it out yet. We'll just stick with 'that's my business' until I feel ready to share."
Sir...it's speaking to me...
Don't be rude...respond.
Mentus looked at the Sneasel and responded,
My Master and I work as a unit...many avoid us because of the other. Most humans see his face...or the way he carries himself, and are frightened. The more observant realize that I am there...and fear my unpredictability. I do not actually speak, as you do....my words are telepathic...but I can choose who hears them and in what language they hear them.I hope that answers your questions.
Do not fight for a cause or for what you believe in: Fight for yourself, because who you are rarely changes. Zandrophin
Maya left the two of them to their... discussion as she proceeded to keep an eye on Bo. The little Flaaffy now had a snowball her size and was a little ways away, some people had to move out of the way of of the pink Pokemon and the snowball's path.
"Bo don't move out into the dance floor thats rude!" Maya called as Bo came dangerously close to tripping a waltzing couple.
"Flaaaaaafa!" Bo bleated, changing direction and heading back towards the group cheerily rolling it. She walked past the group and promptly ran over a stray Vanillite that wasn't paying attention. The ice cream cone Pokemon was caught in the snowball as Bo kept going, rolling it around in circles.
Nicole sighed as she finally moved away from the fire and back towards the festivities. Nero was in a much better mood now that he had been warmed up, and Nicole had warmed up too. "You are such a nag sometimes." Nicole told the Vulpix who merely trilled happily up at her in an amused manner. Nicole merely glare back in a playful manner. As she walked by the dancing area, she was surprised to be met with the sight of Bo rolling a snowball around, along with the sounds of a poor Vanillite calling out for help. "Do I even want to know...?" She questioned out loud getting a "Vulpix" from and equally confused Nero.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
"Eirlys is doing quite well, as young as it is. I believe our first time opening up to Celosia has proved to be quite successful," Eira said with a small smile as she motioned around to the festival going on around them. She was thankful that the weather had calmed down for the night so they could all enjoy themselves, but she was still worried that those from Celosia would still find it far too cold in Silvertree for them to want to come back. "If you are such a high ranking officer, does that mean you know Akane, Commander?"

"Well I don't see a legion of Celosian troops marching through the streets putting up banners. So...I would say the open border was a success." Chazz laughed, though he was impressed the party was quite nice. When she mentioned his involvement with the queen he stated bluntly. "Yes I know her. A Queen doesn't let someone run an entire army and defense of a country without knowing them. That would make for awkward status reports." His grin spread.
He noticed she looked at his ceremonial sword. The proper thing to do would be to show it too her and tell her about it. However, she doesn't know anything about him, so...he had a rare opportunity to have a little fun. "My eyes are up here, Eira."
After watching the scene for a while, Nicole proceeded to move swiftly by the Pokemon who was rolling the snowball, and walk over to where she saw Maya standing. "Hello again." She said adjusting Nero. "Sorry about before. That conversation had given me some bad vibes and I didn't want to stick around for them to play out." Nero shifted more into Nicole's arms and proceeded to snuggle into her hold, already seeking warmth. Behind them, they could hear the poor Vanillite continued to cry out from its rolling cage.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Maya looked up from the ground and was actually relieved to see Nicole again. If she had to speak to someone Nicole was someone she felt more comfortable about speaking with.
"Don't worry about that. That woman is rather... daunting," Maya said, fidgeting and tugging at her braid. "I'm glad she didn't chase you off..."
Bo was still rolling it about, blissfully unaware of the distressed cries coming from the snow as she promptly ran over a Smoochum next. The snowball was now twice her size and she then ran over someone's unattended bag and scooped that up as well.
"Flaaaafa!" She sang. She was going to make the best snowman ever.
Nicole gave a sort of half-smile at that. "She almost did. Not going to lie." She admitted before looking at the happy sheep Pokemon. "Does she... Uh... Know she's creating chaos?" She asked as the sounds of not one but two Pokemon were coming from the snowball. This, of course, did not stop Nero from watching his friend with a look of amusement. Sure he refused to touch the snow, but it was still fun to watch other Pokemon play around in the cold, fluffy stuff.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
"Bo!" She called. "What do you think you're doing?!" She distinctly heard panicked unhappy cries coming from that giant snowball.
"Flaaaaafa!" Bo called back proudly.
"You've rolled up some poor Pokemon!"
"Flaaaaa?" Bo seemed a little confused, stopped and pressed her head against the snowball as if to listen. In that instant the Pokeball exploded, snow flying everywhere, smacking people in the face with clumps of ice. Bo was practically buried in it. A very angry Smoochum stomped off after that Confusion. The Vanillite ended up lodged in a stand somewhere.
"Bo!" Maya cried. The pink Flaaffy hoped out of the snow and ran crying back to Maya, clinging to her leg with big watery eyes and pouting. She sighed and patted the fluffy, snow covered head.
Nicole shook her head to get the snow, that had made it all the way over to her, out of her hair. Nero was also shaking the snow off of him, an annoyed look on his face as he restrained himself from letting out an ember to melt the cold, fluffy stuff away. Upon seeing Bo in tears, he looked over at Nicole and tilted his head, as though asking her what he could do to make her feel better.
"Don't look at me, Nero. I can hardly people as it is." Nicole stated in response to the look, before turning her attention to the rest of the festival that had been spattered with snow.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
"Oh, I'm sorry Commander, I was just admiring the sword on your hip. It has been quite a while since this area has seen a piece of weaponry that beautiful since we don't have an armory of our own and most of our weapons are used by our hunters for practical use," Eira said with a small smile to the man that she hoped she hadn't offended by looking at his blade. It really was pretty to her, though she would be terrified to ever wield it herself. "Akane must trust you greatly if you are in charge of so much in her kingdom."
