Prasha painted the market stall in his Family colors. The Red and Silver paint on the stall and then the glorious sign he had spent hours on made him feel happy. His father would be proud of him. He could see locals watching him paint his new stall, asking questions and pointing. Some approached him and asked for samples. Prasha laughed and said sure.
With this he opened his containers and sliced 12 of his candies. Lum-Razz, Cherri-chesto, and the Figi-Wiki treats were instant hits. Prasha had an amazing feeling that he had just opened one of the most successful stores in all of Pyron.
Prasha looked at Machop who was playing with a few children and pokemon that he had met during the sample session. "Yep, I am home." Prasha smiled. He then looked up toward the heavens and tears rolled down his eye. "Papa, I have done it. All of this was for you."
Prasha turned to the crowed and wiped his eyes. He then yelled out. "Welcome All!!!! Welcome to Prasha Kessiem's Exotic Foods and Sweets!!!!!!!!"......
Prasha organized his stall the flock of locals had dispersed and it was just a sweet silence, everything had gone well. His candies nearly sold out and food was so good that locals came in for lunch and dinner.
Prasha smiled this was all he wanted in life to make hungry people fed and to make them happy. Nachos was sitting on the ground eating left over curry that needed to me consumed to keep the next batch fresh. Nachos happily munched away and kept giving Prasha a warm smile. Prasha leaned back and started to smoke a Treecity cigar that was given to him by a local. Prasha pulled on it and sat thinking about the road ahead.
Prasha got up and walked with Nachos to the port, but before he closed the stall and locked it. Heading to the Port lit by star light. The moon was way overhead and bright. He swore he could make out a flock of Murkrow flying over head. Prasha heard the waves crash on the beach. He could not belie that three weeks ago he had been across that ocean in Saffron.
"Nachos, buddy." said Prasha, "We made it. By the stars. We made it."
The next morning for Prasha was very slow. Customers visited and the berries were growing just fine, but Prasha dreamed of some sort of female to walk in and chat with him. Having Zan gone made him feel lonely, yet there were so many locals who already knew Prasha and were daily buyers of his curry.
Prasha closed shop early and headed back to the Tower. The empty space made him feel really lonely so he decided to spruce things up a bit. In the back of one of the containers he had brought even more things from home. Gorgeous Lavander town rugs and elaborate Fusia City Shell sculptures that to his surprise lasted the journey over. He decorated the hallways and stair cases with fine Saffron furniture and remembered the lift.
Prasha measured the Tower's structure and aligned the walls and the floors. He had Nachos punch out the elevator shaft and made sure any wiring was alright and able to use. Prasha was excited this is what he was trained to do. He put on his tool belt and started to make all the walls fit for a beautiful elevator. He knew Zan would be excited, and it was sort of a gift to Zan for his hospitality.
As soon as Prasha had finished the shaft and railings, he headed to Pyron Depot for elevator supplies. Prasha picked up marble from some island in the Hoenn region and metal from another place and had Nachos carry it back to the tower where he set to work on a gorgeous elevator.
In the Afternoon before Lady Akane's arrival to the tower, Prasha had hired a young boy by the name of Thadd to run his shop while he was gone. Prasha had though twice about this and made batches of curry and sweets so this kid couldn't botch any of his recopies. Prasha had spent every waking moment preparing enough to last weeks and had put it it the freezer of his stall so that it could stay fresh.
As Prasha Slept all he could think about was, what if that boy failed at his work? What would happen if he ate the curry instead of selling it?Prasha was a little bit nervous, but he believed in the boy as well.
With that Prasha turned on his side and rested. Gathering is energy for the trip ahead.
Nicole looked around the market place stopping every once in a while at the shops. Behind her Nero was walking around sniffing the air here and there. Looking back, Nicole tried to locate him to make sure he was okay. "Nero, don't go to far alright? I don't want you to get lost or hurt." She called to him. Nero looked over at her before answering with a "Vul. Vulpix." and went back to sniffing the area. After a while he ran back over to Nicole and bumped against her legs.
"What is it?" Nicole asked looking down at him and away from the stall she was about to go look at. Nero then began to walk a little ways away towards another stand, glancing behind him every once in a while to see if Nicole was following. Nicole shook her head, but went ahead and followed after him until they reached a red and silver painted stall.
"Is this the place you were wanting to show me?" She asked looking down at Nero. "Vulpix!" He confirmed going up to sniff at the stall.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha was leaned back against a crate. Business wasn't to good, Locals loved his food but it seemed like money was tight in Pyron. As Prasha leaned back smoking his pipe a little Vulpix had ran up to his stall.
"Hey there little fellow. Ahhh I bet you smell those Haban and Figi berries, huh?" Prasha knelt down and rubbed the Vulpix's head.
Prasha then noticed the Trainer who had been watching him the whole time. "Oh hello there miss, How can i help you? Welcome to Prasha's Exotic Foods and Sweets." Prasha blushed.
Nachos approached the Vulpix and as always began showing off his muscles. Nachos tried to convince the Vulpix to play, but the Vulpix seemed to preoccupied with the scent of the berries.
"Vuuuuuulpix!" Nero whined trying to get the Machop to leave him alone so he could continue sniffing at the berries. Meanwhile, Nicole turned her attention to the stall owner.
"Uh... Hi. Sorry about Nero, he seemed to really want to come by this stall. Usually he doesn't do this type of thing." She said, walking a little closer. "Nero, come here boy." She called trying to get the Vulpix to come back over. Nero looked over at her then back at the stand before running over and dancing around her feet. "Vuullpix?" He asked looking back at the stall. Nicole sighed. "Alright, alright. What is it that got your attention?" She asked following him over to the area where he went back to sniffing the stall.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha laughed at the reaction of Nero to Nachos. The Little Vulpix seemed to really want something Prasha couldn't tell what it was. He knew this reaction was something toward the figi and the Haban, but he just could not think what Nero wanted.
"HHHHmmmmmm Let me see. Here, does this smell good to you?" Prasha held out an Everything Bar to Nero's nose.
"This will be interesting to see what he likes." Prasha chuckled as Nachos came back over to him and sat on the stool.
Nero sniffed at the bar for a moment before moving over to where the Haban berries were and looking at Nicole. "Vulpix!"
Nicole smiled slightly and walked over. "So this is for sure what you want?" She asked getting a firm excited nod from the Pokemon. "Okay. If you're sure. I maybe will get some for you." She said teasingly. Nero gave his own version of a pout. "Vuuul." He whined causing Nicole to laugh softly. "I'm kidding, Silly." She assured. She then turned her attention back to the stall owner.
"I'd like some of the Haban berries please."
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Pasha laughed, He knew all along nero wanted the Haban berries. He collected some and put them in a bag. As a gesture for the trainer he put some more into the Blender and made a little juice and put that juice into the candy machine. After a few minutes and square popped out and he extended his hand to Nero.
"This is for you free of charge, Nero." Prasha smiled at Nero. "These are also my favorite as well, Nero." Prasha waited for Nero's response.
" Is there anything I can get you Ma'am? By the way I am Prasha Kesiem from Saffron in Kanto. It really is a pleasure to have you shop here. Since you are a first time customer. I am going to throw in a bowl of curry as well." Prasha had a radiant smile on his face as he laddled the curry into a bowl.
"Vulpix!" Nero cheered taking the bar gratefully. Nicole smiled at the action before moving to answer stall owner, who she now knew was named, Prasha Kesiem.
"Oh no, the Haban berries are enough. My uh... My name is Nicole. I'm from Mauville City in Hoenn. And you really don't have to do that." She answered slightly flustered at the fact he was giving her free stuff. Her eyes then fell on the Machop who had tried to befriend Nero. "Hey, if you want to try and get him to play again, now would be better than before. He's not distracted anymore." She told him watching as Nero finished the bar he had been eating.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha saw the fluster in his customer's eyes. "Oh, I am sorry. I just do this for everyone to show gratitude." Prasha rubbed the back of his head.
"Nachos would you like to play with Nero?" Prasha smiled at Nachos who had been trying to do pull ups between the market stall. Nachos dropped down and walked over to Nero who had just finished his Haban Naban Square.
"It's really okay, if you don't want the curry, Nicole. I just appreciate your business. Mauville? My father used to go to the casino there. My mother and I would ride the Cycling Road, while he played the games." Prasha said as he began securing the berries.
Nicole calmed down at the reassurance that it's okay if she doesn't want any of the free curry. It's not that she wanted to come off as rude or anything... it's just that she would rather pay for things. Meanwhile, Nero looked over at the re-approaching Machop and gave a small nod and a small "Vulpix..." in apology for what he had done earlier.
When the rest of what Prasha had said caught up she smile slightly. "Mauville was pretty well known for the Casino and the Cycling Road. I never really saw the appeal though. The Desert right outside of town was always much more fun to me. I spent most of my time there."
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha Smiled and continued the conversation. "Yea I have been to that dessert, a lot of Trapinches there. I remember my mother got bitten by one of those when she sat down to eat her lunch." Prasha Laughed for a minute.
Little Nachos had started to make friends with Nero. They seemed to have started a little game of tag. Nero breathed a little Ember at Nachos and Nachos smiled in laughter and tried to run away from Nero.
"It seems they get along. You sure you don't want to join me for some curry? It's my lunch break." Prasha gave a reassuring smile.
Nicole laughed lightly at that. "The Trapinches aren't that bad as long as you know how to dodge them." She said smiling. Her eyes then went to watch the two Pokemon play. Nero was always good at socializing, while she, herself, was not.
"Yeah, they're getting along really well." She agreed giving the scene an amused look. She then looked back at Prasha at his question to join him for lunch. "I might as well. Those two look like their going to play until they're tired. Thank you for the offer. Sorry to intrude." She agreed with a small shrug.
