Prasha began to close up the shop for lunch. Nicole was still there and the Pokemon were playing their hilarious game of tag. Prasha laughed and put some fresh Saffron Spice tobacco in his pipe and puffed it waiting for his curry to heat.
"Be careful or Nero will set your butt on fire, Nachos" Prasha chuckled watching Nachos have the time of his life.
Prasha then took out his PokeBall carving and his long kukuri knife and began carving into the wood. Puffing away on his pipe, Prasha was finally at rest for the day.
Prasha Heated two bowls of curry and a loaf of Pita bread to accompany the meal. He then placed a bowl in front of Nicole. Prasha thought for a second and got a Slow-Quick Soda Pop for Nachos and a Haban Figi Juice for Nero.
"They will be very thirsty, I can tell. I don't think Nachos has played this hard in his life." Prasha chuckled again. "So.. Tell me a bit about yourself, Nicole. I'm interested in knowing what your doing in Asemon."
Prasha took a small break from his food and carved a bit more of his Pokeball. The knife sliced the wood from Mossdeep easily and Prasha smiled. It was almost done.
Nicole sat watching the two Pokemon until the food was placed in front of her. "Thank you for the food." She said before shaking her head at the two Pokemon still playing. "Nero has always been playful... unless he's distracted or the situation is not appropriate." She said smiling slightly.
"There really isn't much to say about myself. I'm just... here for the most part... wandering around. I stay in a campsite I set up wherever I go. Don't really like staying in inns. Too many people." She explained before she saw what Prasha was working on.
"You like carving?"
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha looked up and smiled. "Yes,I love carving. I used to carve trinkets for my father's candy store before he and my mother died. It reminds me of him and the praise I received from him. He also gave me my most prized possession." Prasha showed her the Kukuri, the long curved knife had an ivory grip and had Stantler antler's as the hilt.
"Carving is my passion along with construction and meditation. Meditation keeps my energy flowing." Prasha looked at Nicole and smiled warmly. "It takes one on an adventure into the mind when one meditates. Watch." Prasha calmed his mind and his eyes glowed blue and purple and his tattoos glowed as well. "This is essential to my mind." Prasha stopped and chuckled.
"This is also why I use Fighting type Pokemon. We have a bond of focus together."
Nicole was surprised when Prasha began to start glowing. She shook it off however when he brought up why he liked fighting-type Pokemon. "Wow... That was... Something I have never seen before. And that makes sense. They are the type of Pokemon that like to focus. Focus brings more control to the strength they wield." She took a small bite of the curry in front of her.
"That's great that you so many memories with your parents. I can't remember mine. All I remember is everything that has happened after I forgot, my name, my love for Pokemon like Nero, foxes, and my penchant for exploring."
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha was taken aback by Nicole's statement. "Oh I am sorry to hear that. Exploring is something I dream about. I just arrived here and am working for someone. This is my side business. Also cooking is my passion." Prasha smiled and took a bite of curry.
"I met ol'Nachos when he was small. I was living on the street after the death of my parents. He was hungry and alone. He shared my food and bed that night and we have been best friends ever since." Prasha watched Nero and Nachos finally get pooped out and come back slowly to their trainers.
"Tired buddy? How bout you Nero, thirsty?" Asked Prasha with a huge smile. He poured some Haban juice into the bowl and put it before Nero. Then he put the Soda Pop in a glass and gave it to Nachos who looked super thirsty.
"Oh Pokemon, never cease to amaze me, Nicole. Look how peaceful they look."
Nicole shook off the apology easily and moved onto the next part of what Prasha's statement. "Exploring is fun, it's a form of freedom. But this only a side business" She was surprised to hear that.
When Nero and his new friend came in, Nicole watched in amusement as he tackled the juice offered to him thirstily, drinking it with the last of the energy he had. It was apparent he was tired and would most likely crash out soon.
"They do look peaceful. Though... I think that if you don't move Nero's bowl soon, he's going to fall asleep with his face in it." She said watching Nero's eyes start to slide closed then jolt back open as though trying to avoid the nap that was trying to force itself on him.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha moved the bowl away from Nero and put a blanket over him so he could sleep easier. Nachos curled up in his little nest at the shop. Prasha stretched and brought his pipe up to his lips and blew out making a perfect ship in the smoke. He watched the ship travel until it dissipated into the air.
"Ahh its so peaceful today. You can hear the waves crash against the shore. I love it here." Prasha smiled leaning back into his chair. "So Nicole were are you off to next?" Waves crashed in the back ground as little Seagulls called in the air.
Nicole smiled softly at her now asleep Pokemon before looking over at Prasha. "I'm not sure. I may just head back to the Desert Wastes. Or I was also thinking about either the Southern planes. Either one would be good." She said after thinking about it for a while.
She then looked back at Nero who was curled into a small ball now, small snores leaving his sleeping form. "Silly... Now what am I supposed to do until you wake up?" She asked the Pokemon knowing she was going to be getting a response.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha laughed and ashed his pipe. "What about that lazy butt?" Prasha gestured toward Nachos who was leaned over on his back snoring like a baby. "He clearly is super tired. Kind of funny though."
"Any way, I was thinking bout going off and finding Fighting typed Pokemon and open a gym, I've heard there is no Fighting gym and of course my fascination with Pokemon is Fighting type. I just need to grow a bit stronger and I think I will do just fine."
Prasha continued to carve his little Pokeball. He gently stroked the knife over the wood and puffed his pipe listening to the sound of the sea, keeping an eye on the sleeping Pokemon.
Nicole smiled slightly looking over at Nachos. "He's way out too." She agreed. "And you want to start a gym? Located where? Here in the city, or outside of it somewhere?" She asked curious. "I don't have any plans besides wandering around and mapping out the area. The part of the island I think I have best mapped out right now are the Desert Wastes." She added as an after thought turning her eyes back to Nero and shaking her head again with a small laugh.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
"I plan to start it somewhere outside. I'm not ready just yet, but I plan on it. I'm still drawing out the plans for it. Then I'll have Nachos help me build it. We both worked construction back in Saffron, so I think we are pretty qualified." Prasha sounded as if he was distant, dreams that he wanted to accomplish swirled around his skull.
Prasha looked toward Nicole. "So, how does on come to find the passion of exploring on you own?"
Nicole listened quietly to Prasha's plans. He defiantly had all the needed details closed to ironed out and that was pretty interesting. At his question however, she took on a contemplative look trying to find the words to explain.
"I really don't know. Like I said, there is a lot that I don't remember from when I was younger. There might have been a reason for my love of wandering somewhere in those memories. It may seem strange for me to say this, but I actually don't feel like trying to get those memories back to find out the reason. Better to live in the here and now." She said after a while, following it with a shrug.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
Prasha listened to Nicole. "Some memories are better left alone. That's what my father used to say." Prasha smiled and handed Nicole and wood carving of a Vulpix. "I did that as a child, I feel that you would gain some value from it."
As Prasha was finishing up talking Rocky and Toxy came in from the back of the shop battered and dirty. "What have you two been up to all this time?" Prasha raised an eye brow as both Pokemon pointed at each other like siblings. "I don't even want to know...." Prasha trailed off leaving both of his companions on the floor laughing and communicating like an inside joke.
Nicole watched the scene with a raised eyebrow. "Your other Pokemon? She asked. Nero had started to twitch in his sleep signifying the fact he was waking up. "Oh, look who's finally done with their nap." She commented as Nero's eyes finally opened and he glared sleepily at the two laughing Pokemon.
"Ah, looks like their laughter woke him up." she said to Prasha quickly moving to pick the Vulpix up and then sitting back down holding him.
"I guess normal was never supposed to be a word for me." - Nicole
