"Maybe we could have that battle before or after the gym challenge?" offered Z, "That way he can get his battle and it won't influence the outcome of the battle for the badge of this gym. You can heal him up for or after the gym battle if you wish." Fraxure looked at Walren, "Frax fraxure. Fra Xure." *where exactly are you guys from? I've never heard of anything like that in this place, so you're not from this island. Where are you from?*
"That would be great," Eira said cheerfully. "I could really use the practice before the real thing since I don't really battle all that often."
*We are from a large island far away from here. I don't know what the humans call it, but I think my Eira has called it Hoenn when she talks to other humans about it,* Walrein explained, scrunching up his nose in thought. *If you are from this island, then you probably do not know of the history from other lands.*
"Sounds good," said Z, "we could even use the arena here for the unofficial battle. I own the place so I know the owners won't mind us fighting," Z added as a joke. "Fraxure, Fraxure Frax Frax Fraxure" said Fraxure *I've heard stories of hoenn. there are a lot of powerful dragon types there. I've always wanted to see Salamance and Flygon, not to mention a Rayquaza, Latios and Latias. what is it like there? Have you seen any cool dragons?*
"I should hope not," Eira chuckled before she turned to her Pokemon. Seeing that many of them were having fun, she decided to just call Shimmer to her side so they could do the battle sooner rather than later. Shimmer hopped over to her with a soft call that it reserved only for her. "Would you like to be in a quick battle?"
Shimmer gave its approval by bowing slightly, an action that looked a little odd from a star shaped Pokemon like it.
*Where we lived was home to Water, Ice, and Psychic types, not Dragons,* Walrein told him as he thought back to when he was still a tiny Spheal. *Dragon types only lived on the mainland, deep into the land where we never went.*
