The theme of this contest is Good and Bad Luck Pokemon, in honor of Bad (or good for some like me) and Good luck, to celebrate an up-coming Friday the thirteenth as well as a welcome to all of our new members, a new OOC(Out of Character) contest will be taking place!
There will be two winners, one will receive the good luck pokemon, and the other a bad luck pokemon. Both of these pokemon are banned, so do your best to win! The writer with the best good luck story wins the happiny, and the writer with the best bad luck story wins an absol. If your story involves both good and bad luck, go ahead and put in the title of your entry whether or not it is good or bad luck story.
*Your entry DOES NOT have to be about pokemon. It can be anything, any genre, it's the theme that I care about.
*ONE entry perperson
Good Luck Happiny! OR Bad Luck Absol!
The contest will be a simple writing contest. Entries can be pros or poetry, and about anything, any genre as long as the underlying theme has something to do with good and/or bad luck. The length of the entries does not matter. I am a creative writing minor (and not flunking), so I consider myself pretty good at analyzing people's works. But I am very literal so keep that in mind. If you feel like also submitting a secondary part where YOU analyzed it or wrote what it is about or even a summary to better help me understand, it is perfectly acceptable to post that after your piece, but not required.
Good luck! (Or bad luck if you need it instead haha)
Note: You must still apply for these pokemon for their moveset and nicknames, however it does not count towards your next rank’s pokemon. These are completely free pokemon and do not consume your application for your next rank’s pokemon. And the application for them can be done at anytime.
Some more examples of good luck pokemon, meowth for money, absol for premonition, togepi for joy, luvdisc for couples, and snowrunt
Some examples of bad luck pokemon, ninetails for curse, angry dragonite and gyradose, mismagious, banette, absol (because you’re seeing one), and kadabra
