This was not what he had expected when he had decided to take a break and go back to wandering around Asemon for a while. Now he was stuck in a cave, with some loud sound echoing from within, while a sand storm raged on outside the entrance. He didn't even know how he had ended up in the cave in the first place. One minute he was outside being blown in the wind, the next he was coming into contact with a stone floor having thought he was about to hit the ridge wall. Covering his ears he looked around trying to figure out where the heck the buzzing noise was coming from, and how he could shut the thing creating it up. Sadly, no answer seemed to be in sight and the sound only grew louder the longer he was inside the echoing cave. Turning to where he had come from, he saw that there was no exit way, and once again wondered how he had gotten inside. Seeing no other way out, he decided that he might need to head further in, and began to do just that, one hand going to Shard's Pokeball, just in case his grass snake was needed.
Nicole scowled as she heard the echo of Zephyr's Bug Buzz. She hoped that this was not another false alarm, like when that Numel had found its way into her home on accident. The poor thing just needed an escort out, not have its ears blared to pieces. Deciding that the noise had been going on long enough, she glanced over to her Pokemon and signaled Nero over to her side. The Ninetails immediately responded, getting up from where he was laying down to walk over to her side. Looking at the rest of her Pokemon she held her hand up. "You guys stay here. There is no telling what this may be about." She told them before making her way towards her tunnel system, Nero following, specifically to the tunnel that led to her front door.
It didn't take her and Nero too long to reach the main tunnel crossroads she had set up as a trap, just in case someone she didn't want inside her home, did end up making it in. There, she noticed a figure in the dark of the cave, just outside of range from the touches she had set up, and signaled for Nero to wait for her signal. "Who are you? How did you get here?" She called harshly to the person.

Uh oh... this cave had been someone's home it seemed. Freezing in place, he tried to figure out what to do. Thankfully upon the arrival of the person who had shouted at him, the loud, annoying sound from before had come to a halt. Of course now he had to explain his way out of the situation he was in without making himself out to be a threat. Slowly, he moved his hand away from the Pokeball it had been on and held his hands up in a surrender gesture. "Erm... I come in peace?" Well if that didn't sound lame, he didn't know what did, but at least it was a start. "I ended up blown in here by the wind outside and got curious as to what the heck that loud buzzing earlier was." That sounded much better. The question now was whether or not it would get him out of this situation he was in or not.
Nicole felt her eye twitch at the explanation that came from the other. She was really going to have to talk to Pandora about making sure he illusion was a lot more solid if this was going to be an everyday occurrence. Well... Not everyday occurrence... But still! First Zandrophin (or could she shorten it to Zan now?) finds her and drags her back into her heritage. Then she found a girl passed out on her roof (even if it was just the top of the ridge). Now she has someone, who sounded very familiar, halfway through her cave system, without having hit one of her dead ends. Groaning to herself she stepped a little closer and was met with the familiar face of Maleko. Okay, so it wasn't so stranger who had found her cave, that was better than it could have been.
Giving a small sigh, she gave the boy a look and decided to skip the externalizing of her thoughts to ask the question that needed to be asked. "So why are you here in the first place? And by here, I mean anywhere near the Jagged Ridge."

How was he to answer the question? It should have been clear by what he had already told her that he had gotten lost. But he could only guess that she wanted something even more specific. “W-Well,” he started trying to figure out how to word things the way he wanted, “I w-wanted to get away f-from my v-village for a while. T-There haven’t been many c-challengers lately and I was b-bored.” That was sufficient enough right? It had to be since he wasn’t sure what else he could add. Though it seemed it probably wouldn't be enough since he could tell the other was no nonsense about him being in her personal space, area, whatever.
Nicole rolled her eyes at the explanation and then gave a small sigh. “And that led you to wander the Desert Wastes and end up near the Jagged Ridge, where a sandstorm blew you into my home? Right…” She said, though she could tell by the boy’s posture he wasn’t lying. He looked sheepish, like he knew he was doing something wrong. With a groan, she looked outside the cave and noticed how much the winds had picked up. There was no way she could let the other out into a storm like the one going, and it was obvious that the winds could have blown him in with the amount of sand coming into the entrance of the cave system.
“Okay. You’re telling the truth. I can’t in good conscious let you go back out into that storm… Fine, follow me and don’t lose sight of me. Zephyr, the storm is going to be bad, I don’t need you getting hurt, you’re off-duty.” She told the boy before calling up to the ceiling of the entrance. Almost immediately the sight of the Vivillian filled her vision as it fluttered in her face excitedly. “Dang it, stop Zephyr!” She snapped pushing the Vivillian away, which caused it to let out a sound of protest, but it stayed at the distance it had been pushed. After that she waved to the Pokemon and to the boy. “Come on.”

He was not sure what else he could do since following was the only obvious option. The cave was so dark though, how was it that Nicole knew how to get through the tunnels without someone to help her? Then again she kept taking the cave was her home, and someone should know their own home right? Watching the girl swat around at her Vivillian, Maleko couldn’t help but feel that the other must have some of the same feelings towards Bug Types he, himself had. As he thought that, his hand went to his Pokeballs, and found the ball containing Gale. His Vivillian was a lot calmer than the girl in front of him’s though, and that is something he was grateful for. Soon enough the two were in a large sitting area within the cave system and Maleko found himself surprised by the amount of Pokemon the girl had running around. It seemed as though they owned the area with how they were prancing around and playing together. This made him feel a little uncertain. It felt like he was surrounded. “U-Um… Can I l-let my Pokemon out…?” He asked from where he stood in the doorway.
Nicole looked at the boy still in the entryway and tilted her head in consideration. All her Pokemon had paused at the question and were looking at her to see what her response would be. There was a bit of hesitation, but then Nicole gave a sigh and shrugged. “Yeah, sure.” She agreed turning her back on the boy again so she could work on filling up a kettle with water. “Do you want something to drink? I’m making myself some coffee.” She asked, while checking from her peripheral to make sure that her Pokemon had calmed down. It seems that they had because they were back to playing, though Orion had made his way over to her and was now hugging her leg. Rhea had also come over to her and was gripping her sleeve in a tight hold, flying around to match her every movement so she wouldn’t have to let go. “I also have regular water… I think I might have some lemonade and soda from when I went into the city last….”

He didn’t waste any time in letting his Pokemon out of their Pokeballs. Shard, Mistletoe, Shiver, Deamon, Gale, and Spooky appeared in their own red lights. Immediately his Pokemon spread out to where they felt comfortable along the wall of the room closest to the wall, except for Shard, climbed onto his shoulder as usual, and Spooky, who floated to the top of his head and landed there. He was sure that he could feel the eyes of the girl’s Pokemon on him and his Pokemon, but he ignored it in favor of properly answering the girl. “Uh… I’m good. I think my Pokemon might like some? And sorry to ask this weird question but… what’s your name again?” He felt stupid asking, but it was a valid question since he didn’t want to keep calling her “the girl” in his mind, it just seemed wrong, especially with her being a gracious host, even if it was against her will.
