Still reeling from the teleportation, Zandrophin quickly surveyed his position. He looked around, slightly bewildered.
Mentus, where did you put us? This doesn't look like the spot we agreed upon.
That's because, Sir...it isn't.
You dirty, little trickster...you went back on an accord; for shame.
Sir, your mockery is not deserved here; you've done far worse to me.
You learned from it...that was all that matters. Seriously, though...where are we?
There's a sign up there, Sir. You go read, I'm going to sleep; that trip drained me considerably.
Sleep well, old friend. Just remember to warn me of any danger.
Draped upon his trainer's neck and shoulders, Mentus slipped into slumber.
Zandrophin walked up towards the trading hub. Walking through the sand, he remembered just how much he hated the beach. He reached the top of the small dune where the sign Mentus mentioned earlier was posted. Before he could even read the sign, Zandrophin was shocked by what he saw in front of him. He was looking over a massive military/trading port; it was full of ships...more ships than Zandrophin thought possible in such a relatively small port. The military vessels flew flags that he did not recognize, which was saying something. He wondered who was in charge of this area, and he hoped the sign could give him some answers. It began:
"WELCOME TO PYRON BAY!
You've just entered the outskirts of Pyron City, the market center and trading hub of all of Celosia."
"So far, so good." Zandrophin muttered as he continued reading:
"This port, along with the entire area of Celosia, is under the command of Lady Akane of the Red."
Attatched to the sign, rather sloppily...was an addition, which read "AKA the Red Lady."
Zandrophin chuckled at this, saying,
"It's good to have an alias."
Expecting to read a list of rules next, Zandrophin was surprised only to read:
"Don't do anything you might regret. Enjoy your stay!"
This might be a good place to start anew, old friend...provided we regret nothing. Get ready, Celosia...a new player has entered this game.
Zandrophin walked towards the trade port...a confident look upon his face.
