Looks: Melota has long light green hair that she normally keep back in a thick ponytail at the base of her neck. She is tan for the people of Eirlys since she is outside most of the day to work on the ranch that she is trying to build. She prefers warm, comfortable clothing that she is able to work in like her fur line overalls and boots, but she won't mind dressing in a suit if she needs to.
In recent years, she has begun to wear more brightly colored clothing that she finds to be cute, though she still prefers to be comfortable enough to do the work that needs to get done. Pup also burned off a good portion of her hair on accident and that caused her to develop a love of shorter hair since it was just so much easier to manage now.
Personality: Melota tries to be kind and light hearted with everyone, which is why baby Pokemon tend to love her, but she can have quite the temper and it is hard to get that temper to flare down once it's started. Day to day, she is hard working and honest and will always put others, especially the Pokemon she raises, before herself.
Likes and Dislikes: She likes clear skies, people who work hard, and travelling. She dislikes dishonesty, big cities, and Electric types.
Almost inhuman ability: She is excessively strong, like has no problem picking up really heavy Pokemon such as Golem and Miltank.
History: Melota had a pretty normal life growing up in a small town in Johto, receiving her first Pokemon from her father and her starter from the region's professor like every other trainer. It wasn't until much later, when she had already traveled around Johto and returned home, when she began to understand that she wanted nothing more than to raise Pokemon like her parents. By that time she was 16 and still had no idea how to properly breed and raise an egg even though she had been living on a ranch her entire life, so she set out once again to go find people who could help her learn how to breed since she did not want to be a burden on her parents. After travelling for years, she heard of Celosia from a traveler and headed out to the new region in hopes of figuring out even more about breeding from the locals.
Having arrived in Celosia, she discovered that the queen was really the only person in the region that actively bred Pokemon, so her journey was all for naught. She almost felt like giving up at this point and was going to go home until she saw Eira's performance at Houndoom hall and the strong baby Pokemon that the ice queen had. She figured that this woman would surely know what she was doing with breeding and decided to head to Eirlys to study under the queen. It wasn't until she arrived in Mistleaf that Melota realized that she was chasing a queen for attention, so that was when she decided to buy up some of the land on the edge of the building city and start her own ranch.
It is currently her hope that Queen Eira would recognize her skills at breeding and would come to her ranch, even if it takes many years for Melota to get the skills she needs for that. She is now at the level of being recognized for her achievements by Akane and has a steady flow of customers coming to her ranch for help.
