Nicole stood back as she watched her Pokemon scare away the Pokemon that would make it difficult to achieve what she was about to do. This is where her story on this continent began, and this is where she decided it would continue, though this time by a different set of terms and morals than before. Giving a small smirk at the amount chaos going on around her as she watched Pokemon that, if she were to actually follow in her father's footsteps would not even really put too much in her pocket unless their ratios and stats went up, run away from the warning attacks her four Pokemon, Nero, Phaedra, Pandora, and Kai were giving.
In her arms, Rhea watched the Pokemon flee with wide eyes, mesmerized by the oddity of the scene her normally sweet trainer was causing. She was, for once, completely silent. Looking down at the baby Pokemon, Nicole couldn't help but think that maybe her judgement was a little on the bad side for letting her see this. It was too late for that though, the damage was already done. Looking back up, Nicole noticed the last of the Pokemon was running past her, the speed of their departure causing her hair to blow into her face briefly, making the Nicole of before, not the Nicole who smirked at chaos, return.
Letting a small sigh out, the girl turned to her Pokemon and nodded at them. "Time to get started on our new home it seems." She said walking closer to where they were. Once she was close enough, and the Ridge was truly in front of her, she looked around at her Pokemon and gave them all a small smile. "Here is where I will face true darkness and battle the darkness that is in my past." She told them once more, the same thing she had told them before they started to scare the Pokemon that had been there away.
Nero gave a small huff and moved to her, poking her in the arm with his nose as though to try and comfort the girl he had raised by himself as a small Vulpix. Nicole's eyes misted over as she gave him a small smile. Phaedra then moved over and gave her a hug from behind, her towering form forming a barrier between Nicole's back and the rest of the world. Nicole rested herself into the embrace as she fought back the tears that wanted to fall. Pandora and Kai (though his was a rare show of affection considering the fact Nicole had accidentally forgotten him) both moved to rest their heads against her legs showing their support. Rhea even snuggled more into her hold showing her own version of support for her mother-figure. Nicole couldn't fight the soft smile that finally won against the tears, which seemed to retreat with the full support of all her Pokemon. Sniffling to get rid of the rest of the mist in her eyes, Nicole began to move out of Phaedra's hug and straighten herself out, one hand leaving it's hold on Rhea to pose in front of her in an open-handed fashion, gesturing towards the Ridge.
"Let's get this party started. Nero, Hyper Beam, start carving into the ridge! Phaedra, Psychic, keep any rocks out of the way! Kai, Aurora Beam, help Nero carve! Pandora, Dark Pulse, same as Kai and Nero! And Rhea, can you help mommy and your brothers and sisters by using Ancient Power to help? I'll still hold you, so you don't have to worry about that." Nicole called out to the first four, then asked softly to the last one who gave a happy giggle at the thought of being able to help out for the first time, while still being able to stay within Nicole's hold. Instantly, there was a barrage of actions as the group of Pokemon set about their given commands. As they did so, Nicole couldn't help but smile. She may have darkness to battle, but at least she won't be alone while she does so.
