Zandrophin's anger flared again....he was seriously considering walking away...but not before leveling the immediate area. He'd had just about enough of her snippy attitude towards his apparently flawed observations...and leveling the town would no doubt change her tone.
You simply reported what you thought you saw, old friend....perhaps you caught them on break...maybe that's why they appeared a bit lost. Still....not called for...
Mentus sensed his master's anger and gave another dose of Calm Mind to keep him in check. Zandrophin took a deep breath and gave his carefully-crafted reply,
"Forgive our misinterpretation of what 'slow' for this area is. We come from a world where a 6-storey building can be built, up to code, mind you, in less than three days. We'd appreciate a bit of understanding in this respect. As for your supplies, we can get you the glass and metal..in about a week for the first shipment...at a modest price. Say...100 poke/ton...given the distance it will have to travel? A rush order of two days can be placed...but that will jump your price to 300/ton. Which would you prefer?"

"We are capable of waiting the week, we aren't in too terribly much of a hurry right now to put glass in," Eira informed him with a slight frown, glancing towards some of the buildings in the distance. "We do not have the manpower or supplies here to put something of that size up within three days. A simple shop like what you commonly see, of course can be done in such a short time, but not something like the hotels that we are putting up currently. While we are not completely set back with technology here, we are also not the most advanced country right now, especially in comparison to Celosia."

"Very well...you'll have your supplies in a week as soon as I can get back to my office to fill out the requisition. Due to the harsh waters surrounding this area, these supplies will be transported by our ice-breaker ship, Glaquir. She's one of the few ships that's built to withstand impacts from ice...so she's the logical choice."
Zandrophin paused before continuing,
"She's commanded by Captain Pera. As her ship is often assigned to inhospitable routes, she's gained a bit of an icy personality; she's a woman who has no time for pleasantries...she'll make you sign the forms, unload the cargo, and then leave...unless you've changed your mind on the offer of extra hands to help out."
Another pause,
"If you have no further questions, I shall be on my way back...as I have much work to do."

"If you need any help with your travel, just let me know and I can set something up to make the trip a bit easier on you," Eira said, thinking for a moment if she needed much else from him if anything at all. "Please feel free to stop by here any time. I know you are the biggest trading company in Celosia right now, so feel free to come and set up shop here as well if you so wish. There's plenty of opportunity here, especially with Eirlys growing as quickly as it is."
Zandrophin bowed slightly to his newest trade partner.
"Lady Eira, your offer is kind but unnecessary...as I need not walk back to Pyron at all....nor will I need to walk back to this place should I need to return."
He paused for a moment before continuing, giving Eira a chance to perhaps figure out what he meant. After a few moments, he explained himself.
"Mentus and I use a visual waypoint system to travel. Once we've been somewhere, or seen a landmark, we can use Teleport to get us there. As such...the waypoint for this village will be...."
He looked around for a moment...searching for something....anything to use as a marker. Then, he found it.
"The dock. How fitting. Supplies provided by me will arrive there...so too shall I. Once again, it's been a pleasure. I may return at a later date...or you may contact me whenever you wish to discuss more formal trade arrangements once this place is functioning."
Zandrophin took a few steps back, gave a jaunty salute, and was whisked away by a blue orb. Back at his office, Zandrophin finished finalizing the paperwork for the building material requisition. Mentus took the forms and warped away to the last charted location of Captain Pera and the Glaquir. He returned moments later.
She'll take the job, Sir.
Of course she will...or she'll be replaced. She had better not mess this delivery up. I don't care how terrible her personal life is...we never take it out on our customers...
Hopefully she won't give Lady Eira too much trouble... A week later, the shipment of goods arrived in Mistleaf City...

Eira was incredibly grateful for the shipment that arrived and the deal that she had struck up with Zandrophin. If she hadn't, development of Mistleaf, and Silvertree in turn, would have been much slower in progress. As it was, within a month of his visit Eira had many facilities set up for travelers, including hotels, shops, ports, and, naturally, a Pokemon Center. Now that everything was set up on her end, she could return to her home in Eirlys' capital and wait for any news of the expansion of Mistleaf.
