The past events had not dampened the woman’s fire. She elegantly floated past her guards that lined the halls. Her dress was also elegant, but not much more than her usual wear and it flowed out behind her longer and like a cape. She released her royal houndoom, Mr. Doom, who began to trot effortlessly beside her; his jaw tight, yet opened to display his sharp fangs and lolling tongue. She held her arms open to welcome the lights her guards turned on in the empty hall. Signs had been posted advertising the contest, and today was the day they promised a show. The red queen turned to see her precious pokemon releases a magnificent flamethrower of joy. But she rarely let him use flame thrower; other judges preferred the much more controlled fire spin. She flipped out her mane that was down today.
For Doom ^-^ 
”What do you think Mr. Doom?” She walked more lazily now that it was just her and Doom. She was answered by a lolling tongue, and eyes that were reading into her shallow question. ”Yep, I think today will be a two-round contest with…” she looked around the room, ”a pretty normal preliminary round, and an… unorthodox finale.” Akane smiled at her most recent concoction for a contest formula. Simple, yet should be fun; and no hiring trainers and their pokemon. She snickered and trotted after Doom to the repaired to pristine stage to fix his crooked bow tie.
I score on a point system of 1-4. Not only are clear descriptions rewarded, but also aid me in finding key points in your performance. The more you describe and do and show, the more points you are reward, but keep it interesting and don’t bore the reader. Creativity and outside the box thinking earn major points with me. Remember a plus 1 here or there isn't much, but if it's more than "here or there" it does add up.
Akane specific bonuses for the preliminary:
Having a shiny pokemon +1
Fire type moves+1
Your character is well-dressed (pictures not necessary)+1 *if pokemon are too +1*
If normal or fire type is used +1 (stacks up to +2 if both types are used)
Also never hurts to introduce yourself... +1
