He played dumb to the fullest, but yet Xenneth did not have any right to point it out. He himself had came up with a whole new persona to the point that he almost believed it. Almost…he just wish he had. Of course, the scene before him left him to not even want to know more than he wanted to: after all, he was pretty sure in this closed and confined space, not even Kangaskhan would be a help since her Strength would bring down the whole corridor on herself and anyone else within the vicinity.

Such a tactic was below him…the new him.

“You sure are popular today,” Xenneth commented, “Underground fighting champ, secret card carrying member of the Dugtrio committee, and not to mention paranormal spook commander?” Picky little phrases thrown from Xenneth in a playful manner, although he was more than open for an explanation. His curiosity, as usual, got the best of him. However, it was one of the things he was taught so long ago; to be exactly who he was dealing with at any given time. He followed that to the tee…

Once again, like a good little soldier he used to be.

Orchids wonderful front to hide his identity had one flaw. The sudden appearance of two of his royal guardsmen, assured Chazz that Orchid wasn't who he said he was. Regular civilians and even criminals are frightened by what just happened. They would flinch or be unnerved, but not this young man. He didn't so much as bat an eyelash. Yes, Chazz finally had all the information he needed to see what kind of person he was. When the situation changes and your hand becomes even more steady. He must be an assassin or a soldier of some kind. He has seen combat, of that Chazz was sure. "I have hobbies, what can I say."

Chazz turned around and started walking away from Orchid. He stopped next to a hatch, and with his knuckle gave it a thump. It echoed throughout the tunnel. "This hatch leads directly out of Pyron. Try not to piss anymore drunk people." Chazz continued walking, and stopped just before he was out of view of Orchid. He turned his head and smiled. "Next time act surprised....if you want to keep your cover intact."

His remark and nonchalant response heard no reply other than his feet as silent as an assassin’s treading across the corridors. Xenneth tried not to indulge this guy any more than he had to; he had already shown to have some dangerous authority considering the grunts and the Pokemon under him. Xenneth had this hazy look in his eye that was painstakingly difficult to keep considering all his time of not hiding face. Parts of him, in his mind, were adding up the images before him and the atmosphere like a math equation for recognizing a crook: the guy teetered to some sort of threat whether he was good…or bad.

In any case, Xenneth walked towards the hatch and stopped the moment he was shown the exit. His hands was almost unsteady to grab it as the magnanimous aura about this Gondir-person made him feel like he was in a hostage situation. His right hand reached for the hatch, flinching once as the man noted his lack of response to what he seen, the images of the henchmen, the words that came from his mouth that would have given a shake to any civilian. He did not even turn around to see that coy expression the man displayed on his face.

What use was it for now? All his cards were shown…well, almost.

“If you suspect me of something, it must be minor, otherwise you would not be letting me leave” Xenneth’s hand was on the hatch, and truth be told, he could have pushed it open and left it at that. However, he trembled for some reason: was this person a threat that would just appear later or was he leading him into a trap. Truth be told, it made him teeter on edge just thinking about it. His eyes nearly closing, Xenneth finally turned to the man as he stared on, “So, what’s your reasoning?”

His footing in the door, his eyes averting to the darkness rather than his freedom, his inquiring mind took a hold.

Chazz had stopped just before he was out of view from Orchid. The words struck him, then he remembered he was posing as an area junky and not who he truly was. "Whether or not I suspect you matters not at the current time. You were down here for what I can assume the first time by your 'Wonder-us' entrance. Meaning you are in a new land for which you don't have your proper grounding. Any threat to Celosia is my business, however you have not stuck me as one. Yet! I tend to know all of those who conspire in this kingdom and I'm pretty sure a violet haired boy with a kangaskan would turn heads. " Chazz's long winded speech surprised even himself. "Now that I have met you and since you are so keen as to know things. You have peeked my interest. " When Chazz finally left this piss hole he would make sure have his men look into this new guest in Celosia.

He was right.

Xenneth hated to admit it, but the man was right. Even with his previous endeavors that had to do with his past, everyone knew the alias “Orchid.” A boy that was young and talented under the watchful eyes of the young Lily. Their names reflecting a gentle and docile nature, and their appearances doing their names no justice. However, when it came to their business ventures, there was no “justice,” but only the job and they fulfilled their duty to the fullest degree. It made him twist his lips as his left hand gripped the hatch, and his right fingers twined some of his hair without shifting an eye.

“Thank you, Gondir…if that is your name. You may be right about that,” he admitted his fault in his camouflage and his own suspicions though nothing to back them up, “Believe it or not, I’m not threat to you or your pride: this Kingdom, right?” he himself once again picking, but yet he did not give any time for an answer. “Nonetheless, I am just a traveler…for the moment. I imagine my ideas nor my morals will be a threat to you. I have this feeling, that when I find my ground and decide to fight for something important, you will know of me. I just hope that we do not stand on opposite sides...”

His hand given one push to the hatch as he stepped into dim lunar light from the outside, and cast a shadow of his skinny feminine silhouette. It was somewhat distorted by the rags of clothing that draped his body, showing he had survived a great ordeal from somewhere. “…for I’ll have to ask you to surrender, or prepare to fight. Good bye for now, Gondir.”

He closed the hatch with no haste, but their was a rush through his heart like no other. It was as if this person had a grip from just his presence alone, and Xenneth was not sure, at the moment, he could not handle him at this time. However, he had his memories, his drives, and images of her in his mind as stained as a film grain photograph. He knew, after his journey, and accumulating more allies, he would be stronger, and maybe in the future, he would know what to do with that power. Keeping the thought to ponder on, he sprinted to the nearest shade of darkness as he had nothing but time to think about what to do…

…like a good little rebellious soldier, he would know what to do and when the time would be right to do “that”.

Orchid opened the hatch and walked out. Chazz pondered his words. Surrender? Ohh if one day they do meet on the field hopefully that kid knows how to fight. He will need everything he has. Chazz smiled to himself and continued walking down the corridor. His time in the underworld though eventful had come to a close. He had an under boss to interrogate and a kingdom to defend. "Come on Breakthrough it's time to walk back in the light again."
