The Pyron City Underworld, a den of vicious, lawbreaking, murderous scum. A blemish on the beautiful name of Pyron. If it is illegal and worth selling you can find it here. From gambling, black-market trade, and underground brawl tournaments, the underworld has it all. Chazz moved quietly through the passages under the city. He wore no insignia, bore no colors of his station. He was dressed in worn common clothing, with a burly back cloak masking his identity. His hair worn in a tight pony tail, dirt and grim concealing his face, to all but the closest of his friends.
He made his way to the edge of the tunnel, he could here the laughter and brutishness of the miscreants ahead. Tonight, however, he was one of them. Trailing behind him was Breakthrough. His Pawniard was young, and inexperienced. He had heart and skill to be a great Bisharp, but in this time of peace experiencing combat was hard to find. Upon reaching the edge of the tunnel they came upon a makeshift arena. Battered seats, nailed together from broken ships, stalls, and old piping supporting their frames. A dirt pit stood in the middle, two fighters were hard at work pounding each other into oblivion for a few hundred poke.
This was it, here he could show Breakthrough a lesson only combat can teach. Everyone fights dirty. The man in charge of this fight and over half of the underground, was the head boss of the organized crime in Pyron. The fat arrogant fool was untouchable in the eyes of the law. He wormed his way through its foundations and everything he does is borderline "legal". He also stayed clear out of military business and there for Chazz had no cause to remove his borish head. He was also a wealth of information on illegal smuggling. Information that Chazz dearly needed.
Above the ground Chazz was know as a military commander loved by his men, but in this underground he went by a different name. Gondir, is what they called him. In the forgot tongue it means Stone skin. He would participate in the cage fighting here. It was the only way for him to meet with the boss, without anyone becoming suspicious. He was undefeated as a cage fighter, but only fought maybe 4 times a year.
Chazz stopped at the edge of the ring. Unbinding himself he tossed his cloak to his pokemon, "Wait here and watch everything. This is barbaric I know, but war is hell my friend." He stood at the edge of the ring. He proceeded to remove his shirt, his highly toned muscles brought awe from the entire crowd. Scars peppered his body, the largest was right over his left peck. A wound caused by a close friend, when they were enemies long ago. His hands were wrapped clenching his fists he prepared for the fight ahead.
The previous match had ended. The announcer entered the arena and spoke to the crowd. "Scum of Pyron", the entire crowd erupted in laughter. "Tonight is a special treat. Gondir has graced us with his presents." The crowd lost it climbing over each other to get a closer look at fighter. "Tonight he will be fighting, beasts of man. Twins from the far corner of Asemon." Chazz was not concerned he always did his homework on the fighters he would face, and these twins would make things interesting. The announcer finished his speech and waved to the guards. Closing the gates around him, he was locked in the room with two vile monsters.
The crowd cheered, "Begin."
