Looks: Astina is very small even for her age with short hair so it doesn't get in her way. She has tanned skin from all of her time in the sun and robes made of the fur from hunted animals. She will often go out in as little clothing as possible or dress like a boy so she can go out and explore the areas the tribe stays in, but will dress up in lavish robes that fit her status as priestess.
Astina has grown considerably in recent years and has now become a full fledged woman in the eyes of her tribe, though she is still not allowed to marry since she has become a priestess. She now carries around a staff that she believes is precious to her since her mentor, Priest Hokama, once carried it before he passed away.
Personality: She isn't very shy around strangers and quickly treats everyone like they are family, though it is rare that her tribe comes across anyone that they do not know. She is new to being the priestess, but has confidence in her powers and her knowledge of the legends that she grew up hearing from the previous priest. She can be more serious than even the adults when she attends to her duties. She has developed a close bond with those around her and a curiosity to see the world that Tsubame has described to her that lies on the other side of the wasteland.
Likes and Dislikes: She likes mysterious things, sweets, and the dark. She hates cute things, science/technology, and grumpy people.
Almost inhuman ability: A lot of her predictions actually come true.
History: Astina was born in Asemon within her tribe, so the wandering ways of her people is all she has ever known. She grew up tailing the priest and learning all that he had to teach, including the tribe’s legends and remedies. Though she had grown up watching him and continues to follow him around for her training since deciding to become a priestess, Astina still has no real idea what she is doing and only does her best to make the right decisions when asked. Because she doesn't quite know what she is doing all of the time, she plays up her spiritual practices like making predictions to an almost comical level, but she has shown a real knack for guessing the right things to do. When she is serious, she can be quite the healer and can make accurate predictions for the future. She has no real goals since she is still a child, but she hopes that one day her tribe can grow even larger since their numbers are dwindling and she, even though she is one of the few females left in the tribe, may not have children so long as she is priestess. She once had a vision that travelers from across the land would come and find their tribe and she awaits for that day to come so she may greet the saviors of her tribe.
Astina continues her duties dutifully even now, though she continuously daydreams about going off to see the rest of the world that she has learned about through Tsubame.
