Zandrophin smirked as the woman left the building. He hadn't had a session of sharp banter in a while, and it was a refreshing experience.
She's not like anyone else we've had dealings with before, old friend. We'd best be wary.
Of course, Sir...but, on the other hand, I believe she's the most interesting person so far, at least she makes negotiations challenging.
Zandrophin began to make his way back up the stairs. As he ascended the staircase, he leaned over the railing and addressed his concierge.
"Mr. Lox...resume accepting calls. Alert me of anything important. There are some things I need to attend to, but I always enjoy visitors."
Lox nodded and began his work. Zandrophin reached the top of the stairs and took the lift to his office.
