Family: He doesn't know how, but somewhere along the line he ended up with Tsubame as a cousin...or something. Hell, maybe he just picked him up as a pet...



Looks: General Image -



Distinct Markings - Dalek's torso, shoulders, and biceps are covered in an intricate latticework of tribal tattoos bearing the likeness of flames. However, the moment they begin to take a single shape, he moves and the image might morph into something else entirely. A work of art masterfully etched into his skin by the master artists of his tribe, they cover a darker mark upon his skin.



Dalek is constantly armed to the teeth, and with his status it is expected of him to be so. He is a walking arsenal, and wields many different swords, a double glaive, and wears a set of eight throwing knives that are sheathed up and down his ribs. The two most noteworthy weapons are the two swords that cross his back. The blades of these swords are made up of segments with a steel wire that runs through the top and thickest part of the blade. Running parallel to the hilt of the swords is a long trigger which controls a spring loaded coil housed within the hilt which when pressed once will release the coiled wire thus separating the blades and morphing the swords into a whip-like weapon. When pressed twice the coil is redrawn and the swords return to their solid form.







Personality: Dalek is a cocky, arrogant, sleazy son of a bitch. He us accustomed to power and the privileges that come with it, and expects to be treated with the respect - and sometimes fear - his position within his tribe and territory demand. That being said, he takes care of his own. He protects and provides for his people and ensures that they above him will continue and prosper.



It is well known that he is a womanizer, and it is difficult to find a woman within the main tribe who hasn't been invited at least once into his bed. He will use every charm and any ploy to make a woman fall for him; promising riches, power, and of course undying love that seems never to last longer than the night. Amazingly enough he still hasn't had any children pop up anywhere.



Being as young as he is Dalek has never allowed himself any ideas of undying loyalty from his tribesmen. He knows their faith and loyalty belong to him only so long as he retains the power to strike down those that might oppose him or surrounds himself with those that will assist him. As such he is extremely territorial and protective of his seat. When strangers enter his land he is quick to approach them and not always kindly. If he doesn't find their appearance non-threatening enough - or attractive enough as the case may sometimes be... - it is not unheard of for him to attack first and ask questions later. He can be extremely unforgiving of outsiders and can be rather harsh in his dealings with them.



While Dalek may have a reputation for being rather bloody, he is not inherently evil or cruel. He does not deliver pain without reason, and he shows no contempt for those smart enough to respect him. Among his own people he is just and fair, bearing a personality similar to a dozing lion: deceptively tame amongst his own pride, but capable of terrible malice toward outsiders.



There is a brokenness within him though, something taken that he cannot reclaim and those who traveled to Asemon from the mainland suspect that thing to be his mind. Those who knew him as a boy can see the differences in the man that he has become and blame his sometimes violent tendencies on the horrors of his childhood and the scars they left upon his mind and body alike.

History:

[*] Born in Sinnoh within the mountain range.

[*] Raised by his mother mostly as his father was usually busy with leading the tribe.

[*] Began training in hand-to-hand combat at age six, and was wielding weaponry by age eight.

[*] As he grew older he was given tutors to train him when his father did not have the time. Gained knowledge in battle strategy and politics as his parents began to groom him to take over the tribe.

[*] Gets into mischief as an adolescent as boys are oft to do, and is often at odds with his father while his mother tries to play referee and keep them from each other’s throats.

[*] When the dragon tamers began to take over, spilling blood left and right, Dalek was away from his home tribe. Upon his return he finds the camp in shambles, bodies strewn about the wreckage and among them his father.

[*] After days of searching he is reunited with his mother and the small remainder of their tribe and they begin to make their way from the Sinnoh to a safer land.

[*] Before they can reach their destination, they are found by a single dragon tamer and find themselves in a fight for their lives. With only a handful of warriors to protect the women and children Dalek’s mother is forced to take part in the fight. While she does not perish, she is struck with a poisoned barb. Trying to save her, Dalek’s life is almost lost and his pokemon is slaughtered.

[*] Beaten and defeated with no more than twenty bodies left to make up the tribe, Dalek’s mother manages to reach Asemon before she too slips into death.

[*] Alone in the world with only his parents’ legacy to sustain him, Dalek took up his father’s mantle and has led his tribe ever since.

[*] Once the wounds healed from the dragon tamers’ attacks, Dalek had his scars covered with tribal tattoos of amorphous flames.

[*] Over the years he secured an ironclad hold over the Southern Plains and Forest Island, and has expanded his tribe through breeding, marriage, slavery, etc.

[*] Finally beginning to recover from the trauma of his past, he finds and befriends a young Growlithe to act as his companion.

[*] Currently in constant patrol of his borders.
