"I can just imagine the powerful Torchic your Sparky would have if she ever decided to breed," Eira murmured with a small smile as she shifted Grace to one hand so she could put her free hand on Meta. "The amazing thing of having a Ditto is that it makes things so much easier when you want to try breeding Pokemon. Of course, breeders have to be careful not to over breed and create an imbalance in nature."

"I can imagine it too," said Z, "Sparky is naturally quite strong and continues to get stronger as time goes on. I even resolved to find the mythical mega stone so she could get even stronger than before." Z stroked Sparky's feathers, causing her to lean into his hand and coo a bit, "but I don' think she'd want to breed with another pokemon at this point and I'm not going to force her to."

"Of course not, you never want to force your Pokemon to breed. The egg that will come of that forced breeding won't be well received by anyone once they find out that the parents didn't want to breed," Eira said seriously, knowing quite a few trainers who didn't listen to their Pokemon's wishes and had them breed and breed until they produced a powerful baby. Eira's thought process was interrupted by the idea of the mega stone. "I've heard of the mega stone, but I don't quite know what it is. Do you know the details of it?"

"All I know of it, is that it can enhance the abilities of certain pokemon, granting them a temporary evolution to a new form that is stronger and different from their previous form," said Z, "I'd need a special keystone to trigger the mega stone if I want to use it though and I'm currently looking for that and the mega stone for Sparky here. I've done a bit of research on the subject in my spare time."

"This place seems like a great place to do research on stones at," Eira murmured, looking around a little bit in thought. "I wonder if any of my Pokemon could use a mega stone. I don't recall there being any legends of extremely powerful versions of any of them, but you never know what new legends may be discovered as time goes on. There is a large part of this region still unexplored, so there may be something to find there."

"Feel free to investigate in your free time," said Z, "there are many records about evolution stones and such in the town library. The town even sells the occasional stone to the visitors as a souvenir or a tourist attraction to help raise popularity. I haven't found much information on mega evolution and am eager to find out exactly what it is capable of. Sparky is just as eager as well."

"No doubt you would be. I have heard that mega stones can bring out the true hidden potential of a Pokemon and who wouldn't want that for their partner?" Eira smiled at the pair, wishing that she could find a stone for one of her Pokemon, but knowing that there was no such legend for any of her Pokemon. "I may look into it before our match tomorrow. Speaking of, we should be heading to bed soon. I want my Pokemon well rested for our battle."

"the pokemon center has good accomadations," said Z, "My room isn't really suited for company and is a bit of a mess right now. The Nurse Joy running the center is quite understanding and will provide a hot meal and a warm place to sleep to anyone who wants it. Just don't get into fights in the center or you'll be kicked out faster than you can say pokemon." Z chuckled and got up and stretched "I look forward to out match."

"I'm also looking forward to it," Eira said, surprising herself since she really was excited for the next day's battle. She was never one to have her Pokemon battle, but she could seem to wait for her battle against her young friend. She stood and motioned for her Pokemon to follow her. "We will see you tomorrow then, Z. Thank you for everything today and I hope we have a fantastic battle tomorrow."
