The Jagged Ridge is where the mountains meet the Desert Wastes and creates a barrier between the two. To the west of it is the Dry Hills, while to the South and East of it lie the Dunes that make up the Desert. The ridge provides the most shade in the area, but still is beaten down by the temperatures from the surrounding area. It is a place that Pokemon from the dunes and Dry Hills will sometimes go to to get shade and to get water as it has small run off areas from the mountains that make small pond-like areas for water to collect.
