Marcus was making his way through the path in southeastern forests of Eirlys. His trusty Vigoroth, Sofa, was walking along with him; keeping his nose open for any large hordes traveling nearby. He was hopeful and slightly weary of the journey they were on. He was confident, mostly, when he first decided to find his way to Silvertree village, the only, until recently unknown, town in the frozen land. But that was when it was just him and Sofa and his newly hatched Wynaut, Alexander. He had good plans for if they ran into wild pokemon, for if they started to get cold, for if they couldn't find out where the village was, for if they got lost; but with 2 other members and their pokemon in his group, he was having doubts they could handle the trip; at least without punching someone.
The girl in the group directly behind him goes by the name Maya. She's slightly short compared to him for being the same age, she has dark skin, brown hair usually put up into a braid and a thick hoodie covering her face most of the time. She's not exactly what you'd call a "people person". He didn't particularly enjoy talking to her, but it wasn't painful either. She just seemed like she didn't enjoy people's company. Reminded him of Eira, the person in charge of the very village they were traveling to. She had a mareep named Bo peep, clever. She was fluffy and kinda derp, but was a good companion to have on a trip through a frozen wasteland. She also had a Froakie named Dororo. Lex seemed to like him a lot, but there wasn't much else he knew about him besides being better with people than his trainer. Marcus wouldn't mind having her around on the trip if she was more experienced in battling. She constantly was putting on cleanse tags and always got frantic when one fell off; but those tags wouldn't work on large hordes, which was their biggest threat. One thing he did like about having her around was that she bothered zandrophin, which made Marcus smile every time he thought about it.
zandrophin was, well....a jerk. He was perpetually snarky and always undermined Marcus whenever he could. It took everything Marcus had to not turn around and punch him in the face every time he insulted his intelligence, or his knowledge, or his skill, or his...you get the picture. He had an Abra named Mentus that was always on his shoulders. He was incredibly strong for an Abra, and him and zan appeared to have an intense mental connection. It made Marcus even more furious when Mentus tried to peer into his head than when zandrophin insulted him. He also had a dive ball at his hip, but Marcus didn't know what it housed. Put all of that on top of the fact zan's father killed Marcus' mother 8 years ago...let's just say there's tension between the two of them. Marcus let him come along because he knew he would whether he wanted him to or not, and he would have had to battle him and seriously hurt him to keep him from joining.
All right: all the members are put in place and the scene is set. Let's see how the group fares on their trip from Enya to Silvertree village...wherever it is.
