Looks: Maya has long black hair in one long braid all the way down to her back and dark skin. She has bright green eyes framed by large circular glasses. She is on the short side at 5”2 and is 120lbs. She looks even shorter because she slouches. She wears loose, practical clothes that are light and comfy. She prefers cool colors like greens, blues, and purples. Because she hates the heat the clothes have to be cool and comfortable.
Personality: Maya comes off as slightly bookish, despite hating books and being more knowledgeable about practical things as she calls them. She loves planning things out perfectly, and prefers things go to plan. If things don’t go to plan she panics and then gives up until she can rally herself to try again. As such she is very poor at making decisions on the spot. Sadly, that also translates to her battling. She is somewhat anti-social, particularly after her parent’s death, and tends not to socialize but will be friendly and happy to talk if you can get her to. Is actually very nervous about traveling alone but having her Pokemon with her makes it better. Is prone to swearing when panicking.

Almost inhuman ability: High spiritual affinity and and able to sense minor things. A medium of sorts. She is easily influenced by spirits and ghost pokemon that are attracted to her and keeps them away with cleanse tags on her body. They however dampen her abilities as well.
History: Maya was a priestess in training at Snow Point temple since she was 8 and showed promise due to her affinity for spirits and such. She knew very little family outside her parents. Her only other companions were her Froakie and her Mareep. Her Froakie was given to her as an egg by her father when she was 10 and the Mareep was a gift from an aunt she never heard of. She often likes cuddling in the wool of her Mareep to keep warm. The goal at Snow Point Temple was to keep Regigas asleep and guard him. Until almost a year ago a punk showed up and disturbed Regigas and then pissed him off. During the rampage she lost her house and parents in the process. She would be left in the care of her aunt she has never met and who now lived in Asemon. She got aboard a ship and headed there. Unfortunately, once she arrived there the address she was given was empty and she had no idea where her aunt was or what she even looked like. All she wants is to find her aunt but finding her is difficult and all she is doing is basically wandering around. The only thing she can think of is that her aunt must be somewhere cold like the Snow Point City she came from. For some reason her aunt holds some other significance... However, she also harbors a deep hatred, though she tries to deny it to others and to herself, for the person who is responsible for death of her parents and destruction of her home and she intends to get revenge should she ever come across them. She has no fighting skills to speak of it so any confrontation on her part would be a lot of shrieking, swearing and girly slaps unless she sets her Pokemon on them...
