"I'm glad you brought that up, regarding transport. If you have no workers who would be willing to do such a job, I would have to send a detachment of my employees down to Starfort, which would cost you on your end, as an exportation service charge. They would then be able to move the goods to their destinations."
"As far as importing the goods to Starfort, I can also have men here transport it to you. Another option, provided you have the manpower, is to send a representative from Starfort whenever a shipment arrives, and have them pick it up to take it back, I would just hold it here at the pier on the bay. That would cost you nothing, monetarily, but it would require that you have people who are willing to travel back and forth as often as necessary."
(It's not technically failed RP not to send me the money...but I do post the figures I do for a reason...they aren't too extravagant, and they're easily payable, so it would create a more in-depth RP experience.)

"I'll see what I can do on my end," said Z, "I'll be sure to keep in contact. Thank you for your time and consideration. It has been a pleasure doing business with you good Zandrophin." Z finished his tea and stood up. He smoothed out his cloak and turned to the older man, "Am I to keep a copy of this contract or will it be held here at your offices?"
Zandrophin took the form and pulled the carbon copy sheet off of the back of the packet.
"You keep this copy for your records, and I'll keep my copy."
Zandrophin stood up and escorted Z back to the door.
"Master Carter, it was indeed a pleasure doing business. Now...if you will excuse me, I have much work to do in order to get your shipments lined out. They should be here within the week. If you have any problems, do not hesitate to return here."
As the man left, Mentus floated over to the doorway.
Sir, he made no effort to negotiate prices...why didn't you take advantage of that?
Sometimes, it's better to have associates early...then to pressure them later. Depending on how much this costs me on my end, we may not need to alter the deal. Only time will tell...

"Again, I thank you for all of this," said Z as he got up, "I am glad we have been able to work out such an agreement here."
Z rose to his feet and headed out the door before calling out Rodan to fly him back to Starfort. This would be the beginning of a new era for his thriving town. One day, his home will be a powerful city and perhaps this here had been the first step to that bold new world. Z looked forward to seeing just where the future would take him.
