Mariko let out a sigh as she stretched from her place behind the counter. Today was turning out to be a slow day, and because of that, though she hated to admit it, she was slightly bored. It might have been die to the fact that not two days ago she had been in a nonstop rush, helping this Pokemon here, that man there, a child with a scrapped knee over yonder. To have a slow day was not something she used to still. Yes, there were the days where she was lucky to get a break and head over to the lovely tea house she had become quite fond of. Breaks were different than slow days though, breaks were intentional.
Letting out another sigh, Mariko watched as her Pokemon hustled about doing whatever they could to stay busy. Snowdrop was currently having a nap, but that didn't stop Celeste from trying to restack the clipboards for the twelfth... Maybe thirteenth time that morning. Luka was carrying a small watering can and was currently watering the plants of waiting room, careful to not accidentally start one on fire like he had at closing time once. Finn and Windy seemed to be the only two not worried or overly work oriented. The two were in front of the counter, a little to the right of Mariko's position behind it, having a conversation of sorts, possibly about the Metal Coat that Finn had found somewhere and refused to give up when Mariko asked him to let her see it.
All in all, Mariko didn't want to jinx herself, but she truly wished that something would happen soon.
