"Spheal eal," Spheal said, patting Axew on the shoulder. *You could always convince him.*
"It's called Silvertree because there is a large tree in the village that has been so petrified by the ice that is looks silver and even sparkles when it is sunny," Eira explained with a small smile, remembering the day that she and a few of the older members of the village came up with the name. "The tree is a landmark for all of us that travel away from home, so we know where to go to get back from any direction."
"That sounds beautiful," said Z, "where is the village located?" Z was really considering going to the village now. "Ax Ax Xew." said Axew. *looks like yyour trainer is convincing him.*
"It's to the north, past most of the frozen wasteland," Eira replied, trailing off as she caught sight of Marcus' performance. She was completely amazed at how well he worked together with Sofa when the large Pokemon had just evolved earlier that day. She wondered just how close the two were to be able to perform so well together and couldn't help but to cheer along with the audience for her friend.
"I think I will travel there later," said Z, "It sounds like a nice place." Z watched Marcus's performance and admitted that it was quite good. "Ax Ax Axew," said Axew *You might like to meet Sparky*
"You would need a Fire or Ice type's help to get there though," Eira warned the young boy sternly. "Too many trainers try to make the trip through the wasteland without one and we have to go out and rescue them."
"Sphea?" Spheal wondered, rolling away from Axew slightly. "Sparky?"
"I have one," said Z, "but she's resting at the pokemon center right now." Axew nodded, "Xew Axew." *Sparky is Z's Combuskin. He named her that because she was always shooting sparks as a torchic.* Axew chuckled at the memory. "Ax Ax Axew." *once she set his food on fire*
Eira frowned as she looked at Z worriedly. She didn't like the idea of a child out in the blizzards that ravage the wastelands between the hot kingdom and her own, even if they had a Fire type to help protect them. "Maybe it would be best if we traveled together up there."
"Sphea spheal eal," Spheal laughed as he did a quick roll around Axew. *She sounds fun.*
"Alright," said Z, "that would work." Z was getting excited about the new journey he would go on. "Ax Axew." said Axew, *Sparky also has a bit of a crush on him.*
"I wonder if Marcus would come with us as well," Eira murmured, looking towards the other trainer. It was an odd feeling for her to have human friends, especially ones she wanted to travel with and show her home to.
"Eal?" Spheal questioned in surprise. *On a human?*
"It is a bit far to travel though," Eira said softly, trying to think of if it was socially acceptable to ask someone to travel together. "And I don't even know if he has a Pokemon that could help him if we are separated."
"Spheal sphea spheal spheal eal," Spheal said, shaking his whole body as if he was shaking his head in disapproval. *I couldn't have a crush on my Eira.*
"I think I can manage," said Z, "I traveled here from my home already." Z shifted his weight. "though I never traveled through ice and snow yet." "Ax Axew" said Axew, "Axew." *It's strange to me too, but Z rescued her as a chick.*
"That is most people's problem when trying to travel up north," Eira sighed, shaking her head. "I bypassed the blizzards when I came to this region and landed on the coast above them, but everyone else had difficulty unless they were from Snowpoint City."
"Spheal? Spheal eal," Spheal said, rolling his little eyes with his whole body moving along with the motion. *And? That does not make it right.*
"that's a good point," said Z, "I'll need some warmer clothes if I'm going to travel through a blizzard. My cloak won't be enough." Z fingered his old cloak as he thought about the conditions. Axew shrugged, "Ax Axew." *She has a hot temper, no pun intended, so I don't argue.*
"A simple coat should do it," Eira shrugged, unsure of what to tell him of the weather in Silvertree since she was used to it. It was easy for her to live up in the freezing climate since she had grown up in a northern part of her region, even if it was an island that rarely got snow. "I've lived up there for years now with only a coat to keep me warm other than a fire, so you should be fine just visiting in one."
"Spheal spheal," Spheal said boldly, patting his stomach. *I could probably take her on.*
