"Well...I've got to meet up with Maya before we head out. Plus," Marcus let out a sigh as he dropped his head slightly. "I suppose I should go talk to Eira as well. Although I did tell her Sealeo to have her come to me if she wanted to talk. If she wants to settle things, she'll take the effort to come to me."
Marcus paused for a bit before turning back to the tent. "Hey, get up. We've gotta pack up camp." After a few moments, Sofa walked out with Marcus' pack and sleeping bag under each arm. "Did you get any sleep?" The Vigoroth nodded slightly.
Lifting up his arm, Marcus looked at Mentus, still dangling from it happily, swaying back and forth. "Let go, please." Kneeling down to unharness the tent, Marcus called to the human zubat hanging from the tree.
"Think you can use those matches of yours to set up our morning fire? I'd hate for the food to go to waste."
Eira made her way through the town, checking on the few stragglers that were still hanging about instead of returning to their homes in Celosia. She still couldn't seem to find Marcus and Zandrophin and was worried that they had gone too far from the village to be safe. After searching for them a bit, she decided to send Sealeo out with a team of his faster friends in order to hunt them down and bring them back to safety. She was worried that something had happened during the night if they were away from the guards that protected the village.
Sealeo made his way out into the forest, sniffing his way through the trees to try to track down the two men his human was fretting over.

Zandrophin dropped down from the tree and set about his new task. In no time at all, there was a fire burning. Once that was done, he began to take more of the meat from the Sawsbuck and cooked up breakfast for everyone. After that, he helped clear up the camp as well as he could.
Then, Mentus and he sensed something.
Sir...something is coming...it's searching for something...for us.
Zandrophin straightened up. He spoke to Marcus in a hushed voice,
"Something's coming. Is it dangerous, old friend?"
I'm not sure, Sir...it's pattern is rather erratic. Perhaps it'll miss us.
"Take no chances...stand ready."
They had little idea as to what was coming, but at least they wouldn't be caught unprepared...

Sealeo's nose twitched when it finally picked up the scent of one of the humans, Marcus if his memory served to identify the scent that he recognized. Shifting his weight towards the source of the scent, Sealeo easily slid through the snow on his stomach until he neared the scent. Bringing himself down to a lower speed, Sealeo came through the trees to see a full campsite sitting within the snow.
Sealeo took in the sight for a moment before he gave a bark of outrage at the sight of the corpse of a Sawsbuck, knowing full well that his Eira's ruling about hunting had banned it for the current season.
Sealeo wheeled towards Mentus, understanding that the Abra could communicate with its human. *It is against our law to hunt any Pokemon during this time of year.*
Pressing down the tent as flat as possible to fit back in Marcus' pack, Sofa smelled a familiar smell. His face lit up at his friend slid into their camp. Marcus had tied his sleeping bag up, not responding to zan until he'd heard more information. When Sealeo appeared, he turned towards him calmly.
"Good morning, Sealeo. Do you want some-" Before he could say more, the ball roll pokemon turned towards Mentus and barked angrily.
Well...something tells me we're in trouble. I guess expecting anything less for just one day would be expecting too much...
