Akane’s true fiery spirit returned to her. This was what she wanted to hear. A wicked smile played itself across her face. She turned to fully face Zandrophin and Mentus. Her smile softened when she spoke.
”Of course you may take whomever you think you need. But as I’m sure you know, too many people, too many slips and the absol may be gone forever.” She sighed. ”As for taking the absol,I personally cannot take a pokemon who loathes me, and absols are known to be spiteful, but I think in time they grow to be excellent partners.” She turned to admire the garden once more.
”I have no more objections. I cannot wait for Lady Eira to learn about your future pet.”
Akane decided that she would not leave it at this. She ordered two max revives for her partners, and handed Zandrophin one of her specially crafted dusk balls. ”This pokeball has been tinkered for me, so it has a higher catch rate, and also being a dusk ball, it works better when the sky is dark; not specifically dusk, but even cloud cover is enough for it to have the effectiveness of a great ball.” She waited for any more questions he had, and offered him pretty much anything he needed, mainly because he never took more than he needed.

Zandrophin took the Dusk ball. He couldn't help but grin.
We may not even need the ball, old friend...if he's willing to listen to you.
We'll see, Sir...they don't tend to be very social.
We'll get there when we get there.
"I've heard that the crater is beloved by Poison Pokemon. Will we need any sort of breathing gear? Prasha brought some in our HAZMAT container from Silph Co...wondering if we'll need to bring that gear."
Zandrophin glanced across the garden and saw Prasha coming back from working on the lift for the living quarters.
"Ah," he said, "here he is now. He may have some questions for you."

”Ah, you must be thinking of the ashen badlands my friend. No, the absol has been seen to run north, so I assume no gear is needed unless he runs that way to shake us from his tail. You might need the gear after all then.” The red lady hated when she was unprepared. But then again, she went to Zandrophin for his skill. She was afraid they would have to comb through the entire mountain surface, and it was by far the largest mountain in Asemon. [colore=red]”Bring something to deflect heat. It gets hotter the closer to the sun you get, and even closer to the volcanic peak. My charizard often like to visit, and I can only last about three days before the heat takes me.”[/color] She was one of the few people who knew what a slow roasting felt like. And she always welcomed Prasha, especially if he had food.

Prasha heard Zan's voice coming back from working on the lift and spoted both Zan and Lady Akane in the garden. A smile lit up on Prasha's face as he hurried over to meet the two.
"Lady Akane, nice to see you again. How do you like the upgrades to the place?" Prasha bowed slightly and rubbed the back of his head. "Hey Zan, what can I do for you?" Prasha asked.
Prasha leaned over the garden fountain and splashed some water on his face. Nachos was busy trying to coax a Pidgey to play in the garden with him. Prasha straightened up and stretched.
"Hey Zan, I changed the water out in the back pond I built as well as put some Goldeen and Magickarp back in as well."

"Very good work, Prasha." Zandrophin said, "Doing your part to make the garden even more beautiful. I appreciate it. Now listen...we're going on a little expedition...an old-school snag job, if you remember how to do those. We're going after an Absol. You interested, old boy?"
Knowing that Prasha was eager to get out and go exploring as well...Zandrophin continued,
"We'll need something that can deflect heat. The HAZMAT container should have something to that effect, I think. Go run and see...then come right back. Go ahead and have the breathers ready, as well."
As Prasha took off, Zandrophin turned back to Lady Akane and asked,
"You said 'us', Highness...'as a way to shake us from his trail'...do you plan on accompanying Prasha and myself?"

Prasha knew exactly where he left those suits. Prasha had designed the RebBreath4 an oxygen/biohazard gear for snooping around the old Cinnabar Island Mansion that burned when he was in middle school. The goggle attachment were in the bag ready to be deployed. Prasha was surprised to see that all 5 of them still worked and he had spare parts to repair any that broke along their journey.
The Bio-hazard suits were skin tight. Allowing no chemicals to enter or penetrate the suit. The radiation suits were Prasha's favorite, because he designed them to withstand any sort of radiation poisoning. Prasha checked the air tight seals on each of the suits. The seemed to be alright no sign of any damage.
Prasha came back with the large bag of bio-hazard gear and set it before Zan. "Here, we go boss. All of the seems to check out ok, however we should probably refill the air recyclables in the RebBreaths, but that is pretty much all we need to do. I will take care of that it literally will take me two minutes."
Prasha then put the Air filters into the RebBreath and packed them into the large bag. "Ready when you are....."
Prasha ran up to great the duo. He was careful to only bow a little this time, which made the red lady smile. She even suggested that Prasha put some feebas in the pond.
”I know they’re not pretty, but when they evolve they will make your garden truly standout.” She smiled sweetly.
Zandrophin continued to give Prasha instructions. He asked about the we she mentioned.
”Dear Zandrophin, do you think me too weak to chase the creature myself? But to your question my answer is no. my guards and I have chased it twice now but it always gets away from us. That is why I have come to you. You are sneaky, not clunky and trailblazers like my guards.” She laughed at the memory of her guards tromping and sliding down the mountain’s surface, while the graceful creature easily hopped away.
Prasha returned with two suits. He was intelligent and a hard worker. Akane hypothesized introducing him to one of the many available ladies in her castle. He would be snapped up quickly. She giggled and walked over to Prasha.
”Besides Zandrophin, Prasha only brought two suits!” She laughed and walked towards the exit. Before leaving, she turned back to the duo. ”Any questions before I take my leave?” She was most grateful he took the job, and even brought Prasha along. His enthusiasm gave her hope.

"Any questions before I take my leave?"
"Just one from me, Highness, as I cannot speak for Prasha," Zandrophin replied slapping himself upside the head mentally for almost forgetting this part of the negotiation, "how are we going to settle up? You mentioned pay...but I never got a figure. If you would like me to give you my calculations for both Prasha and myself, I can do that...or we can just start naming numbers."
"On another point of settling up, when we've captured the creature," his confidence showing by his choice of words, "are we to meet with you somewhere, or are we to return here?"
Do not fight for a cause or for what you believe in: Fight for yourself, because who you are rarely changes. Zandrophin
The red lady gave a slight heh at Zandrophin’s comment about his pay. She had mentioned extra than usual due to its dangerous nature. She knew Zandrophin was not overly greedy, but she would let him set the price this round.
”Zandrophin as I stated earlier I understand how dangerous this job is. Let me know what number tickles your fancy and that number you and Prasha may split.” She smiled. She imagined at least five thousand each. But she waited for him to speak. He continued on to mention his plan was set in stone to capture the absol. Akane grinned. This works much more in my favor.
”As for when you capture the absol, bring it to my castle if you’d please. There are holding cells made for pokemon. I would like to be present when you interrogate him. Not that I don’t believe your word, but to ask the creature my own questions should they arise, that would be wonderful. Any objections Sir Zandrophin?”

"Let me know what number tickles your fancy and that number you and Prasha may split."
She's writing a blank check, Sir....she really wants this Pokemon for...some reason.
Not the best business decision...but I will be fair.
"Objections?" Zandrophin said at last, "First off, Highness...do not call me 'Sir'. I have yet to be knighted by any court...so I feel it taboo to have the title describe me."
He continued, gesturing to Prasha,
"As for pay...we'll take....6,000....each. Considering that my last trip became much more dangerous...I felt like I'd low-balled; the Absol will make up for that. However...this time, I know what I'm going up against...and I have an idea as to what you plan to do once the job is finished...6,000."
"Regarding the Absol....I will bring the creature back...but do not forget...he is mine, by rights; misuse him..and you're misusing me. I will admit that I am a thief...and to steal from a thief is one of the worst crimes anyone can commit. As a friendly precaution...I warn you...do not try to cheat me out of my prize. I do not mean this with any disrespect to you personally...it's just that people have backed up on a deal before...and paid for it."
He waited for his words to sink in before concluding,
"So...do we still have a deal?"
Do not fight for a cause or for what you believe in: Fight for yourself, because who you are rarely changes. Zandrophin
Zandrophin objected to sir. Akane humphed for she was only trying to be polite, she did so with many other people. In fact she would knight him if he really wanted it. Zandrophin reinforced the fact the absol is his. Akane stopped listening and waited for him to quiet himself for his ridiculous comment. She spoke immediately after he finished.
”Mr. Zandrophin, if you think me so low to misuse pokemon you’ve been recently hit in the head. I told you what I wanted from this pokemon, and interrogation solely for information. I would not dream to ever hurt a pokemon for anything however, not even knowledge in this case. And secondly, I do not steal pokemon. Look at these hands.” She held out her scarred hands.
”These hands have been washed many times, but the blood of the people I’ve murdered has never been washed away. And I’m glad. Those people mistreated pokemon and their trainers. I was happy to execute them for their crimes. And I would expect the same of myself if I ever repeated their crimes.” She extended her hand to Zandrophin. ”If you don’t mind touching these bloodied hands for a shake, I do believe we have a deal. Again, bring the absol and Mentus here so I may ask my questions and we may go on with our business.”

"If you think me so low to misuse pokemon you’ve been recently hit in the head."
Zandrophin chuckled inside at this...nudging Mentus lightly...who groaned at remembering that event. As Akane went on, talking about the people she killed....Zandrophin said to Mentus,
Heh...she's "executed" people, old friend...she claims she's murdered....but I doubt it was in cold-blood.
Technically, Sir...you had a reason...or at least found one to justify it.
True...true. There was that one time, though... Zandrophin chuckled to himself again.
Akane extended her hand. Zandrohin was surprised at this, it was odd for him to see a leader of her post extend a hand to a lower individual...but he took the hand firmly, nonetheless.
"We shall see you when the job is done. Prasha, show our guest to the door, if you would."
Meet me back here...I will be meditating before we leave. Join me when you return. What I must speak to you about must remain undetected by all.

Prasha escorted Lady Akane to the door of the Tower. He stepped out first and offered his hand to her Highness, helping her down the stairs of the tower. Her Rapidash looked gorgeous the fire mane matched Lady Akane's hair. Prasha had a warm smile on his face.
"It was good to see you again Lady Akane as always. I do have a few questions though. The first is embarrassing and well I knew I could only ask it away from Zan. I was wondering if you had a maid or lady at your castle I could court. There are not many women here in Pyron and well I am eager to meet them." Prasha looked away and turned Razz barry red. He turned toward Lady Akane and laughed a bit.
"Also Lady Akane. I am starting a series of cakes and desserts at the store and was wondering if you would take some to try at your castle along with the people there. Maybe a possibility of doing some business with you. Providing sweets for events. Catering, I know you must have an excellent chef. I just had to ask." Prasha held out a package to one of er guards that Nachos had brought out to him. "It is a Lum Cake, I just baked it this morning."
Prasha helped Lady Akane into her carriage. "It is always an honor to have you here." Prasha bowed slightly and smiled...
Prasha extended his hand to the red haired woman. She had a confident step, but to show her respect for their hospitality she accepted his hand with a sweet smile, one that was actually genuine. She watched with a prideful smile as Prasha saw her magnificent rapidash stallion. Akane noticed his face flush as he stroked the steed.
"It was good to see you again Lady Akane as always. I do have a few questions though. The first is embarrassing and well I knew I could only ask it away from Zan. I was wondering if you had a maid or lady at your castle I could court. There are not many women here in Pyron and well I am eager to meet them."
He laughed awkwardly afterwards. Akane never had any interest in men, but she knew for most women finding a man was very important to them. She was impressed at his boldness, asking the queen herself? She only would recommend the best for him.
”Well, I’m not one that women come to for help on that issue, but I always plan to host a royal ball after my pokemon competitions at Houndoom Hall. I heard Marcus met a lovely woman there, perhaps you may have the same luck.” She smiled. She was getting up in the years, perhaps she should consider continuing her line. An image of her parent’s blurry faces popped up in her mind. No. If I produced more people like them I’m not doing this planet any favors.
"Also Lady Akane. I am starting a series of cakes and desserts at the store and was wondering if you would take some to try at your castle along with the people there. Maybe a possibility of doing some business with you. Providing sweets for events. Catering, I know you must have an excellent chef. I just had to ask… It is a Lum Cake, I just baked it this morning."
Akane didn’t open the box for fear of messing it up, but she could smell the lum berries. Not one of her favorites, but would certainly prove something if she enjoyed it. The fact he repeated similes told her how nervous he was. Her lips curled up in a smile.
”Sweet Prasha, I’m sure I shall enjoy this as I do everything else you make. But I will be sure to share this cake, especially with some of the women I know to be single.” She couldn’t help but let out a laugh. ”Of course I would consider you for catering. You bring a certain exoticism to my life through your food alone. It’s more than I can ask for.” She smiled, and he again helped her mount her rapidash.
”Goodbye Prasha, please be careful on your journey.”
"Sanity is only an idea made real, to make those who are boring feel better." -Akane
Prasha could not help feeling excited. This meeting with Lady Akane and the journey ahead of him had just what he needed. Lady Akane had said yes to his catering and that compliment hit Prasha like a train. Did she really enjoy his cooking that much? Prasha chuckled to himself.
"My Lady, I will be very careful, do you think I want to miss that ball?" Prasha joked sending a sly little smile at Lady Akane.
Prasha's sent off Lady Akane, but before he slipped her Rapidashes some Hadan Candies. Their Manes glowed even more and a fire arouse in their hearts as Prasha stroked their noses.
Prasha went back into the Tower and prepared for the journey.
